We really enjoyed our visit this Wednesday lunch. We had dishes from the lunch set menu and everything was inventive and tasty. Service was great and the atmosphere inside was similar to a nice gastropub in the countryside. Just wonderful, will certainly come back for more!

Was sat at the chefs counter which was amazing. The food was great and the new head chef Michal is very talented and controls his talented team with grace and professionalism. The pork loin and oysters are a must have, my girlfriend loved the sides especially the truffle mayo with the crispy potatoes. Nothing else to say but you can’t go wrong here.

Had an outstanding dinner here recently. The menu is seasonal and very elevated for a pub - reminded me more restaurants with big awards. Phenomenal soda bread, omelet , beef Tartar, lamb chops with lamb hearts and peas, sirloin perfectly cooked etc… all Well seasoned and executed properly. Only thing I found ok was the ox tongue. The house beer was delicious. Service was good, with only objection they are trying hard to up-sale you alcohol , to the point we told them off :) When the bill came it was £60/ head for huge amount of food - so probably estimate £40-60 per person. Go!

Really enjoyed my visit. Not least because we were sat next to Henry Cavill! Food, beer and wine was extremely good. English pub cuts with a a stylish twist Bursting with different flavours. We had beef tartare, oysters, cod roe on toast and then I had lamb rack for my main. Everything was spot on. The only note I’d leave is for the waiting staff to take a small step back. A little in your face with frequency of “are you ok” and slightly pushy for the order even though we left our left out table with loads of time to spare for their next booking. Minor complaint on a otherwise brilliant night.

Been meaning to pop in for a while based solely on my love for Guy Ritchie and beer. I had a Ruby, a lager and an IPA, all lovely. Was a big fan of the atmosphere, the staff were really friendly and up for a chat. A good old fashioned pub in Central London, will try some of the food next time. Reasonably priced too.

Held my daughters 30th Birthday here in the private room upstairs. Hands down the best evening we have ever had in the UK. The food, the wine, the EXCELLENT, AND FRIENDLY service (special shout out to the Polish Waiter - apologies, we can't remember your name? Who was just wonderful!!) The atmosphere EVERYTHING about Lore of The Land cannot be equaled. Just great. Thank you, LOTL team !!

Quiet (when we were there), traditional boozer that is owned by Guy Ritchie. Friendly staff and very tasty bar snacks. Recommend.

Excellent Gastro Pub with an Incredible Sunday Roast, highly recommend the Lamb Scotch Egg too. Great service and a great vibe in the first floor dining room which was bustling, booking in advance is essential!

Without doubt, one of my new favourite places for Sunday roast in London. My boyfriend took me yesterday, and we ordered the roast beef (pink) which was incredible. I can’t complain about anything, but I would recommend that you try the bone marrow with the roast potatoes (which were also out of this world), as it is a bit salty on its own. The service was excellent, with the staff regularly checking if we wanted another drink, cleaning the table after each course, etc. It is also really great value considering how delicious everything was. I am already looking forward to returning, and would go every Sunday if I could!

A busy pub with a great restaurant upstairs serving a variety of delicious dishes. Superb quality steaks of various sizes, expertly cooked by attentive chef. Good service, pricey but quality. Limited selection of reasonable own brewery beers, better than most similar pubs but not traditional brewery style ales.

Probably one of the best Pubs in London. The atmosphere of the place is incredible and will give you a feel of old times. The food is superb, with excellent service. It was tasty 😋 if you are around that area, you better book and give it a try; you won't regret it .

Cosy pub with excellent food and drinks. Sat upstairs in the restaurant. We had the ox heart and sausage as started. Bread comes with excellent selection and butter was great too. Mains were the rabbit stew which was excellent and ox tongue (could have been more flavoursome) Definitely recommend it

Always love coming here. Nice little boozer. Relaxed, welcoming, friendly. Great mix of after work crowd, tourists, friends and folks from further afield. He does a decent beer does the Guv'nr. And the food continues to go from strength to strength. Brilliant staff, knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend a little stop off. You won't be disappointed.

A truly amazingly curated dinner from start to finish. All plates were absolutely delicious, with a special mention for the sea bass carpaccio. Indulgent scotch eggs. Lots of veg options. The cherry cheesecake was not too sweet and with great textures. Highly recommended
