There is no end of cafes in the area and i guess I am checking them out to see where is good place for me to work when I am working from home. Being couped up in the flat can be a bit draining. This is another place I have come across on my walkabout. During the day (when it is not a school holiday), this is a good spot to hang out and work. Obviously during half term etc, because it is kid friendly, you can get a few children around. If they are quiet and behaved, it is not an issue - but if they are rampant, then it is not the best place to be for a childless person wanting to concentrate. Good and friendly service. I just had a mint tea, but it looks they serve cakes and pastries too.
Love the Tin Cafe. It's an unassuming place that serves a fine coffee in an area with more and more hipstery (is that a word? It should be!) places popping up with that emphasise more on style than substance. Foodwise I highly recommend a cheese toastie... not sure they really make anything else anyway ;)
Miso recommend for good coffee!
It's so nice to have a good coffee shop open in the early mornings. The staff members are always nice and friendly. Very efficient. Nice coffee and some pastries and snack bars. Small tables and stools inside and some chairs outside. One of the best local coffee shops I would definitely want to support.
Unique ambiance, pleasant service, good coffee and matcha. Only lament - no coconut milk. Nice corner set back from the road with several tables.
I think this place was even nicer before COVID. The design of the place is an interesting one.
The coffee is good, plenty of options for sandwiches and also desserts. They have vegan and vegetarian food, options with meat as well.
If you want a vegan coffee, they have plant based " milk". I had a flat white with oat milk and was really good.
If it wasn't for their staff, I would give them a 5 stars review. I think they could be more friendly and less moody. Just saying ;)
I came across this lovely place by chance - the staff were very friendly and made me a delicious oat flat white which cost half of what most places are charging for coffee these days... I also had one of their energy balls which was pure bliss!
Such a lovely little gem with a wonderful sense of community and AMAZING coffee.
Moved in across the road from this place last year and I really look forward to popping in to get my morning coffee en route to the station most days. The lady who works there is very welcoming, kind and makes a real effort to remember peoples order.
Very friendly staff, nice and authentic environment, good coffee!
Lovely quirky cafe. Lady here bakes the cakes at home. Friendly locals. My favourite in the area. I love mug my flat white came in.
Favourite coffee in town - Tania is an absolute legend.
I have been here once and really loved the taste of my coffee and the atmosphere. The staff was extremely engaging and makes drinks with passion. The prices are standard and reasonable, although, I did not find much difference between the two sizes offered. I would have prefered a larger size for my coffee as it truly was divine. I Will definitely go again if I am in the area. Thank you so much for the friendly service.
Excellent coffee. Lady (could be owner?) serving has a good sense of humour and seems to really know her customers. The place has a relaxed air to it. Giving it four stars because sometimes she seems a bit stretched (too many customers for her to manage - but she does manage and she employed her lovely humour). We have a regular fortnightly appointment in the area and we are sure to grab our coffee here before/after!
