It's been a week now in UK and amidst the super hectic work schedule, found some time to visit Westfield London and when hunger calls, it had the large open food court serving almost anything and everything!
Seeing the warm wraps from the grill, we ventured to Comptoir Libanais , a Lebanese joint bringing out what looked pretty salivating Lebanese food.
We went for warm wraps of Lamb Kofta and Chicken Taouk. Both were pretty good to taste and filling. The lamb one had spicy minced lamb with hommos (or humus?!) while the Chicken variant was grilled chicken breast with generous garlic sauce! Tasted yum!❤️
While ordering we saw a full sized Mango Vanilla cheesecake and couldn't resist ordering a slice. But looks awesome, may not taste so. This was pretty okish. Could have seen better days.

Lebanese cuisine is famous for its meat dishes and other delicacies like tahini , hummus
Finally tried the best restaurant in town for some good 🥘 Lebanese food
Their food ain’t spicy but has robust flavours and has a unique touch to it .
Choose to try a lamb kofta grilled pita roll
The minced lamb is so finely cooked it just melts in your mouth
The meat so juicy has rustic flavours in it
It’s paired with hummus and some salad 🥗 along with pickle
And after a long time choose to cheat in a bit
So quickly chucked off my favourite bhaklavaaa and choose Mango and vanilla cheese cake 🍰
Boy it is just perfect 😍
Baked velvety vanilla cheese cake with a layer of mango on top ✅💯
It is by far the best cheese cake I got to relish
Do make it a point to add to your list of favourite restaurants- COMPTOIR
I’m sure you would be famished
Food -5/5 remarkable
Service -4/5 warm staff and dutiful
Ambiance-4/5 simple decor with great Arabic music played in background
VFM -4.5/5
The food here is a steal deal
And the place adds charm to it
Prices aren’t too expensive either
A memorable day on the whole

It is very good to taste Lebanese dishes in London, the taste is quite well and the staff is very welcoming. The taste is good and the variety makes you think what to choose. Recommended
This was my first attempt at Lebanese food so was a make or break..... Not being an alien to middle eastern food, expected similar food.
Was not disappointed, if surprised by the flavors they managed to pack in this small restaurant. Am a fan. Will be back for more when I visit London again.
Tony Kitous is the man behind Comptoir and the first Comptoir opened in 2008 and has been steadily growing thanks to regular and discerning guests. Comptoir Libanaise serves wholesome and healthy Lebanse food and is extremely popular among the food lovers.
The restaurant serves mezze, cold mezze, hot mezze, wraps served with salad and dips, large salads, mana’esh (Lebanese style pizzas), tagine and extras like Vemicilli Rice, Couscous and Batata Harra. For dessert, nothing is more authentic than the sweet taste of baklawa – Lebanese pastries in a variety of flavours such as date filled semolina and walnut filled flaky pastry.
I ordered a Halloumi Salad, which has grilled halloumi cheese, baby gem lettuce, tomatoes, baby cucumber, red onions, olives, radish, olive oil and lemon juice.
Halloumi is a Cypriot firm, brined, slightly springy white cheese, traditionally made from a mixture of goat and sheep milk, although these days cow’s milk is also used. Its texture is similar to that of mozzarella or thick feta, except that it has a strong, salty flavour imbibed from the brine preserve. Cooking the Halloumi removes all its saltiness and empowers it with a creamy texture.
Since the cheese has a high melting point, it can be easily fried or grilled. Its unusualness lies in the preparation of the cheese where no acid or acid-producing bacterium is required.
Demand for Halloumi in the United Kingdom had surpassed every other European country, except Cyprus, by 2013. Halloumi is available in almost all popular eateries which I visited in London, Manchester and Liverpool and this salad proves why it is so popular in this country.
I am not the biggest fan of Lebanese food but I was so overwhelmed by options at the food court that I opted for the resturant with the longest line at that time, and boy did it pay off I had the lamb meatballs with Brown rice the meatballs were packed with great flavor the rice has a wonderful aroma and the platting is very posh for food court quality. This is not your ordinary food court.
The place to go if you need sustenance pre (or post shopping)! Ordering a bowlful of chicken and couscous results in a veritable mountain of the above appearing on our tables, in a seeminly endless portion.
Hot and nourishing, just what you need when you need energy to carry on shopping.
A very generous portion and the service was also great. The food however didn’t fully meet my expectations and judging by the taste, I also doubt it was freshly prepared. Needless to say I think it’s ok but definitely nothing special and most certainly doesn’t do justice to Lebanese cuisine in my opinion. I would’ve probably awarded 3 stars but taking into consideration the swift and friendly service combined with the generous portions served, I think a 4 star is fair.
Went today with the wife. Ordered a Halloumi and olive wrap platter myself. £9.99 for the wrap, a touch of homous and fried potatoes with seasoning. Was okay, nothing special. Mrs ordered falafel wrap, she enjoyed it, wished they added a lil more sauce though. All in, with two can drinks, it came to a touch under £20. Food came quickly enough, though I believe it's pre-prepared and just heated up. Would I go again? Hmm, probably not at that price. But you pay a premium in Westfield!
Pricey for a food stall in a shopping center, but still offers a better quality stantdard than most, it seems.
The Mezze Platter was more than enough for 2 people, and tasty, too. But since it's vegetarian and one of us is not, we also ordered Kofta Wrap -- and that was too much food!
Service must be improved -- not the least friendly, and it took very long to prepare both dishes, though there were few customers waiting and no line at all.
Still want to pay a visit to one of their proper restaurants.
Good food, not the “best” lebanese place but good. As a lebanese i did feel it lacked spices, but good overall. The staff is friendly and the service was quick! Will come back again!
Glad I ordered here, very authentic, tasty and not a long wait, will come back with friends next time
Had the Chicken Taouk wrap platter The salad and hummus was nice. Wrap could have a bit more veg and garlic sauce but was still was decent.
I regularly order the meze platter for one and it is consistently fresh and tasty.
The best baklava i’ve ever had in England!! Two workers who helped me were extremely polite and friendly! Would definitely wanna go back there next time.
Very nice place reasonable price love the lamb wrap
