Very nice place with great food and friendly staff.
Proper straightforward pub with lots of room, strong tables, and a couple of screens showing sport (quietly) during my short visit at 6pm on a weekday. Helpful staff, clean lavatories, prices way below those in major towns outside London. Free WiFi, and the place was quiet enough to do some urgent audio editing for a radio job. Not a specialist venue for wine (my choice of drink), but that might detract from what is good about the Cally. I'll drop in again.
Came to watch football with the children. Lovely staff, nice and clean pub. Good priced drinks and food. I actually watched the chef wash his hands before making our order! Well done The Cally. Defo recommend!
Recently reopened, I was at lunch there this afternoon. Really great food from a menu that accommodates most tastes. I had the "new" sharing platter with a colleague. Fantastic and good value ! Chef takes pride in his work :) And it's a friendly atmosphere too.
Try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I certainly wasn't.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Ordered the Chicken Gyros and all I can say is wow!!! Like being transported back to a sunny Greek island! Absolutely delicious. I canβt recommend this place enough!!

Went inside first time for a post match beer, ended up ordering some food (chicken gyros) which was really nice and hit the spot, will definitely check it out again
Great local pub for a pint out with mates on the weekend. Relaxed and not over-crowded, with plenty of space and you can actually hear yourself speak. I went just to catch some football and it was laid back and calm as I prefer. The bar won't set your world on fire but it doesn't need to, and service was generally good.
Great little place. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Also baby friendly as I've been in there a couple of times with my 8 week old daughter
