Had a lovely lunch with the family here. The Angus burgers were great. Large portions. Friendly attentive staff. Good beers and wine. Cocktails weren't that great though. Nice to be outside although undercover, so sheltered from the rain. Will come again 😄
My favourite place in Spitalfields Market, food is fresh and service is attentive. If I am looking for a roast or Bloody Mary, this is my go to!

Excellent home cooked food from top notch ingredients. Of particular note were pulled pork meatballs and the v. spicy chicken wings! Charming staff and great tunes toó! We'll be back!

Lovely location with a nice ambiance as its set in the market. They probably do my favourite crab salad that is always clean and fresh tasting.
Very prompt and friendly service, who tended to our table with perfect professionalism, checking in on us just often enough to be very helpful.

Going to go with five stars, food amazing, we popped in for a Sunday roast, kinda random idea, and came across the Grocer, it had that sort of country pub groove going on, deliver.. picture of the vegetarian roast attached, the lamb looked amazing, and the staff, nice, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks options.

To be fair the toilets could do with more frequent checks, or perhaps just a bad day, but sticking with five stars for the excellent food!

This is a fantastic alternative to have lunch/dinner or to have some drinks with colleagues. Fancy place located at the Spitalfields Market with a good environment around the pub. If you're looking for a big open area to socialize, with sofas and long tables, this is one of those places. Cheers
Very tasty Burger and Fries. Burger came with onions, lettuce, and well cooked burger in a Brioche bun. The Fries were light and crispy without the greasy oil taste. We sat inside, and it's comfortable with nice surroundings. Good selection of beers, too.
We had a fantastic evening with a drink and platters dinner hosted in a beautiful garden setting. The staff were attentive, accommodating all our requests with care. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Amazing Sunday roast followed by an equally delicious dessert! Definitely recommend and will come back. Also Emily is the best waitress/bartender/superstar!
Perfect place for a nice cold beer and a catch up with friends! Food was really nice too. Price was reasonable for the area, and a good selection of beers to choose from. Nice choice of indoor and outdoor tables. I had the small plate mackerel and sourdough bread, my friends had the market salad and sausages and mash which they thought was really nice too.
The food I ordered was okay, not too bad but not tasty. The atmosphere was great, it was busy and packed with people. There’s a lot of seats for large groups of people and service was great!
Three of us went for a Sunday roast. Weren’t told / wasn’t obvious that you order food at the bar yourselves. Chicken and beef roast were good but the potatoes were bad (soggy, no crunch). Gravy a bit too runny. Overall missing that wow factor. One of our plates was missing the turnips. Well-priced considering location.
Outstanding food, great service and not what I expected in a tourist spot. Good range of beers and a welcoming environment make this an ideal place for a catch up, date or group outing. Loved everything about this place, I really did!
We planned for a 40 person gathering to the side of a conference and Chris & Team set us up nicely and all was going well. Then suddenly word got out about our drinks and many more friends and associated started to come. The team handled our increasing numbers and demands expertly and efficiently.
We go to the grocer all the time for small drinks and we are also coming back for our big ones.

I really wanted to give it 5 stars but I felt taken for a ride...
I ordered a mushroom with stilton and poached egg that came with rocket. This was really tasty, but tiny. In comparison my friend ordered a fish finger sandwich for pretty much the same price and it was a huge.
Decour was really nice. Our waitress was really easy-going and welcoming.
Definitely returning and definitely getting that fish finger sandwich!

Fabulous venue. Service always very good at the bar or from the table. Nice friendly staff. The fish and chips I ate were great and not a small portion either!
Really friendly and helpful staff who accommodated our group of 14, including five children. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Great atmosphere and fantastic food and cocktails.
A beautiful place Spitalfields market. The team here were friendly enough and we enjoyed ourselves. Would recommend.
