This pub is part of my family history as it was my dad's local 60 years ago when I was just a kid. Dad would go here for a couple of hours after church on a Sunday whilst we got some sweets from the shop across the road then went home. The sweet shop has gone but the pub remains now run by a lovely
Great food, great ambiance. I had a chicken roast on a Sunday by myself. Great vibe, great staff, great music.
A great Streatham pub close to the overground station. An offering from Young's, well done. The place is clean and tidy, also hectic on my visit. Cool staff coping well. Just a quick visit for some refreshment today so I can't comment on the food. There is an open kitchen here though, I am confident
Amazing staff and atmosphere! Popped in here on a whim after getting diverted through Streatham and needed to kill some time - they serve a great pint of Guinness and George at the bar told me all about the pub and the surrounding area which was a really nice surprise for a Youngs pub! I won't be
Best Pub in Streatham for sure. Staff, food (Mirko the Head Chef is great), management, ambience, TVs with sport, great back garden and obviously drinks. It's overall a great place to chill and the Google rating I just saw above doesn't reflect what It actually you can experience when you are there
We had our wedding reception last night and couldn't be happier. The staff was amazing the food was amazing, i would recommend them all day everyday. Thank you so much for everything you did for us. You really did make it that much more special. Carla the GM was a star she did everything and more th
Great for Sunday lunch if they do not run out of items for the dish, however alternative dishes were amazing... So extremely happy . Worth a visit, lovely staff
Really nice pub, food and drink was good. Reasonably quiet during the time of our visit at Sunday lunchtime with respectful clientele. Watched the third test Ashes(2023) which England managed to win!!!! To finish off a pleasant Sunday afternoon.
Great pub, good roast, good ales and wine. The young barman was very helpful checking everything was okay. If roast was hot it would have been 5 stars, but first time, and will definitely return, already told a few friends.
Had a great burger in there on Sunday! The pub, food and staff are all wonderful. Please give them an Easter bonus. Will be back soon. x
First visit for lunch with a friend who lives locally, plenty of decent food, nice staff and atmosphere - bright & friendly. Only downside, my wine (Gavi) was indifferent. Will visit again
Good food and beer. It is a bit expensive but probably one of the better pubs in the area.
Lovely little local, nice outside space (some covered some open) and a beautiful interior. The bar staff are FANTASTIC, all super friendly and helpful. Nice selection of beers on tap, and good wine available by the glass. Great pub quiz on a Thursday, and lots of other events advertised! Would hi
The roast was good! Left feeling very full which is always a good thing. Interior very nice and the staff were friendly. The kite room air did feel a bit damp though, maybe needs to be aired out somehow! Overall great pub in the area.
LOVE. THIS. PLACE. Amazing gluten free menu. It's new so don't be put off if the staff seem a bit confused by it. Menu includes battered cod and pan roasted chicken breast with smashed potato (YUM). Great service and good selection of gins and ales. Fun location and classuc old pub buikding beautifu
Food was quite nice as well as the atmosphere. However the fish seems quite soggy and the chicken wings though we're tasty felt as if they were heated in the microwave. On the otherhand, the other times I've been here the food was delicious.
Lovely place. I was very surprised that such a nice place can still exist in that area. Food is good. Good selection of drinks.
