Amazing food, always such a massive portion even with a takeaway. The restaurant is really nice and clean with a good vibe. The staff are so lovely, and one of the waiters is really hot! The food is also hot, with the perfect amount of spice.

There are loads of reasons to visit Uncle Nam's. It's new. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homely. But most importantly, the food is delicious! The chicken wings I ordered were meltingly tender and a bowlful of soothing, rare beef pho came with all the trimmings. The taster of roast pork belly I snaffled from my friend gave me serious food envy - so I'm really looking forward to coming back to have a whole plate of it to myself ;-)

Value for money, friendly and unfussy vibe. A welcome healthier alternative in pizza-tastic Stokey! I enjoyed the rare beef Pho and my hubby devoured the chicken Pho. Speedy service but without feeling rushed. Lovely lunch and we fully intend to return to sample more from the menu.

I've only ever tried one thing on their menu, but it is one of my absolute favourite dishes and it keeps me and my loved ones coming back! The Chefs special Bun Bo Hue, if you’re a fan of flavourful rice noodle soups you’ll love this and the portion size is perfect. Great for when you're feeling under the weather or when it's cold and rainy (although admittedly I eat it all year round)

Just a quick and simple review. This cup of Vietnamese Ice Coffee was by far the best one I have had in London. I will come back to try out the food in the near future. Highly recommended (at least for the Ice Coffee)!

Never had Vietnamese food before, but was well worth the try. Had a really nice experience. Even tried using the chopsticks which was fun. Loved how you are given a choice of chopsticks or knife and forks. The Chopsticks also have a small diagram and description on how to hold them on the back of the packaging. Food tasted fresh and the lady who served us was very accommodating.

Visited here on a Sunday & had a pleasant experience. The food came quickly & the taste was decent. We ordered tofu summer roll & vegan squid (not pictured) as starters. For Mains: we had x2 different types of beef pho, vegan pho & pork belly rice. We wanted to try a mixture of desserts but they only had 2 options (tiramisu & cake). At £5 each, the portion was tiny but tasted fresh One negative element was the service. The Asian lady was very rude & not attentive. I would return & recommend this place overall as the other waitress was nice and the food was good. This was my second visit & the first visit service was better, so maybe this was a one off.

Dined here at Uncle Nam's after a cold walk through Stokey. Welcomed to a cosy an quaint atmosphere. The chicken pho was soulful, authentic and delicious combined with the crunch of the prawn crackers. The homemade lemonade was sweet and tasty and the service was hospitable, they really take care of you! I had to access the secret red chillies and warned of their spice levels mixed with the fragrant home made chilli oil one can say the cold night turned hot.

Excellent. The menu is not too big with some classic Vietnamese dishes but it’s always good. The atmosphere is nice, especially in the summer when the front windows are open. There’s a number of vegan options: pho, vermicelli salad, banh mi, hot and sour soup and a Vietnamese pancake with tofu. My favourite is the vermicelli salad with tofu

Stoke Newington lacks a good Vietnamese restaurant but Uncle Nam's does a good job of filling that gap. The menu isn't as varied as some of the Shoreditch competition but what it does offer is very good and the specials mean there's enough variety to keep you interested. Prices are comparable to most similar restaurants and the cafe style has a nice atmosphere, as well as a decent wine selection and drinks offering. Our starter and mains were decent on portion size and price, as well as being tasty enough to think about coming back. I have had better takeaway Vietnamese from round N16/N5 but for a meal out this place is well worth checking out. **currently cash only, close to local cash machines.

First off ( if you enjoy sassy comebacks) I recommend browsing through the lowest reviews and reading those sassy replies from Uncle Nam's. They go along well while ingesting the food😅. And you will have plenty of time while eating. The portions are big. The food is yummy and the coffee was so tasty I wish it was just a little larger.

If you're craving good Vietnamese food and want to sit down (or Pho viet 101 is closed), this is it. Incredible flavours and super friendly staff, this will be a regular spot for me for sure.

Today I picked up a takeaway & chose the Uncle Nam's Chicken Wings with the Vietnamese Beef Stew. The food was absolutely delicious as always & I would definitely recommend both dishes. The stew is perfect to warm you up on a cold evening with just the right amount of spice to tickle your tastebuds!
