Great place. Think our party of 7 was slightly loud yesterday afternoon. The staff were great to accommodate us.
Best place to grab a pint on the terrace before laying out on the hill - or cozy up to the fireplace and stick into some great food. Friendly and genuine staff make you feel at home.

We went here for Sunday lunch over the Easter period and we couldn't of been happier! The staff were walm and friendly and went out of their way to recommend food from the menu and drinks to compliment it! The food was delicious especially the rare roast beef (just how I like it) and the panacotta was just so creamy! Followed by a walk on hill ...all in all a lovely day. We shall defiantly be visiting here again on our next trip to London!
Our local pub , always lovely atmosphere! I have recently had my birthday celebration there we have enjoyed a quiz night very much
Called in here briefly but wish we’d stayed for food as the staff were lovely. Not sure where the landlady was from as she spoke with a strange accent but was very friendly and made us feel very welcome! Thoroughly recomnended!
Excellent Sunday lunch here with family today: big portions, delicious nosh, and very friendly and efficient staff. Can't fault it! :-)
Great pub, great service and family friendly, unlike the Pembroke up the road that was awful as they refused to serve my 16yr old a coke after 6.30pm! And they were empty!!!
The Queens was awesome and bustling with Christmas warmth!!
I had a risotto and it was very nice and tasty. Very polite waiter, good white wine too
First visit, often do this walk with dogs when visiting family in London (Regent’s Park) really nice atmosphere we sat outside as busy but has heaters so ideal
Lovely friendly place. Prompt service at bar too. Good choice of cider
Great food and a great atmosphere I love how cosy it is!
Awesome every time, small hiccup with the bill but who cares! Great food too!
The pork was tender and thick and the cracking was wickedly good. As for the restaurant itself, being on the first floor, it had high windows which flooded the place with natural light and a superb view of Primrose Hill itself. But we weren’t finished with main course. After taking a break and chatting some more we plumped for the sticky toffee pudding dessert which was so good.
Great cosy pub, very busy, good for a drink after walking Primrose Hill. Food menu looks good. Busy area for resturants. Lovely Youngs bitter.
This past Sunday, my new flatmate, Pascaline, and I visited the Queens pub in Primrose Hill for a relaxing Sunday evening roast and chance to listen to the lush Collette Cooper and band perform a couple numbers from her upcoming album, City of Sin.
Many thanks to Pascaline for buying my dinner and lemonade (fresh, tangy and sweet). We had the Sunday roast which was delicious -- the yorkshire pudding in particular was worth every bite and o so moist. The only complaint (albeit small) would be that the meat was very tough and hard to cut with the provided knife and the portion of gravy could have been doubled to last the entire meal. But all in all it was a great treat so many thanks to Pascaline for dinner and the Queens pub for a fab Sunday roast.
Very excited to have moved in with Pascaline this month and looking forward to furthering our friendship and making many more great memories.
While we were eating the lovely Collette's band started playing. They are a lovely and entertaining ensemble.
Finally we were excited to see Collette come on stage and perform several numbers from her upcoming album (due out early 2015) -- she truly does have a one of a kind voice and her lyrics are both witty and catchy. In fact Pascaline and I were humming/singing "Big Fat Liar" to ourselves on the way home. :)
Unfortunately we were both tired so we headed home early but what a fun Sunday night at the Queens pub where we were royally entertained by the lovely Collette Cooper. Thanks again Pascaline for dinner and Collette for inviting us to hear her and the band play. xx
p.s. we had a reserved table and boy am i glad we did; at 5:30 pm on a Sunday night it was packed downstairs.
p.s.s. it's awesome to note that the pub is dog friendly.
A garden cafe, alright. Peaceful, full of plants and statues, it is a nice place to chill with hot chocolate and some food. We were lucky it had enough vegetarian options, which tasted real good.
Popped in for a drink at the Queens pub after a walk on Primrose Hill, ended up staying for a delicious meal and a wonderful evening! The team were super friendly and went to great lengths to make sure we had a good time. Food was delicious, hats off to the chefs. Would definitely recommend this pub!
A short but sweet visit to this pub. My friends and I had just finished a picnic on Primrose hill and fancied a few drinks in a pub that was local to the area. This is the first one we came across when leaving the park. We ordered a bottle of white wine and enjoyed a view from the balcony on the 2nd floor. It was a pleasant experience on a Sunday early evening. Although I did not have the food, I could tell by the smell of the Sunday roasts that surrounded me it would be an amazing place to eat. I noted the fact the Yorkshire puddings looked home-made and delicious when envying my neighboring customers. However, there is one short-coming. The men's bathroom facilities left something to be desired; designed nicely but appeared somewhat unhygienic. Overall, the atmosphere of this establishment is great and I would recommend the experience. Hopefully next time I will be greeted by nice bathrooms and a tasty roast.
I ADORE this pub! The space is quaint but stylish and the bar staff is very friendly. In a great location next to Primrose hill so you can see the city, go for a walk, then grab a cozy pint
28/2 Update: we came for Sunday roast recently and it was a wonderful meal! The cheesy cauliflower was delicious!
Went for a beer after visiting Primrose Hill. Very nice place, lovely calm music. Worth the visit

We came in for Sunday roast (our very first since we're American) and our experience was most enjoyable and pleasant. Whoever says British food is bland obviously didn't choose here or went off the beaten tourist path. They really have something for everyone, and the staff ran around to make sure everyone was happy! Friendly and accommodating. Get a reservation here for your next Sunday roast! PS. They're also dog friendly!
We were lucky to have a seat on the balcony for our visit. The cocktail menu was not large but varied enough for one evening.
The starters were a nice variety nice but there was nothing I liked. We all ordered steak for a main which was cooked very well and the triple cooked chips were very good.
When placing an order at the bar this took quite some time, table ordering was an option.
I did ask for salt and pepper to add to my chips/steak and this never arrived.
As a food and cocktail lover, I cannot recommend this pub enough. It offers a harmonious fusion of top-notch food and an extensive selection of cocktails, all complemented by the friendliest and most attentive staff. When at the bar staff allowed me to sample multiple beers to allow me to find the right one (Camden hells). If you're looking for an unforgettable dining and drinking experience, don't miss the chance to visit this pub – it's truly a gastronomic and cocktail paradise!
Sat out front on a warm day - great for people watching those visiting the hill. Good beer.
Excellent beer. The best truffle Parmesan fries ever, Must try those. And the mushrooms in cream sauce were pretty good too! Great seating outside, with heaters too. Just around the corner from primrose hill.
