Absolutely beautiful food and very friendly staff - quick service and prices not too bad either.
A first visit for us. Excellent food. Great company and great service.
這是一個很棒的餐廳,每道料理都好好吃,但注意,如果你們不太敢吃辣要先告訴老闆喔
Great quality authentic chinese food and very friendly service!!!
Came on CNY 2018 because I felt like my ancestors would curse me if I didn’t eat Chinese food on the day, was expecting some standard fare but it was actually really good, definitely exceeded my expectations. So much so that I’m writing a review (which I don’t ever do). We ordered eggplant with minced pork and sweet sour squirrel fish, both were sublime. There was a negative review below about lack of tap water - can confirm that they do serve tap water now (albeit in plastic cups. This did not bother me). Can’t vouch for anything else on the menu but if you get what I got you’ll be happy 4 sure.
This is a great, authentic, proper Chinese. No airs and graves, full of Chinese at the tables. There is no place better to eat other than China!
And it's great value.
Hearty and hot Chinese food in central London. This restaurant serves "home style" dishes from the Sichuan and Hunan regions of China. Judging by how many young Chinese diners it had attracted on a Sunday evening they are onto something. To be fair there are a few items on the menu which may prove a tough sell to those not brought up on China's nose to tail approach to eating. However, for those of a less adventurous nature there are plenty of well executed favourites such as twice cooked pork, Gongbao chicken and deep fried green beans. Staff were friendly and helpful, even offering to arrange referrals to doctors of Chinese medicine, and we heard that they have private rooms for karaoke downstairs. Maybe next time?
The menu is about a million pages long. I've read it a few times and I still dont see my standard Pork Chow Mein on the list. No worries, I ordered it anyhow and it was still prepared.
Had a really nice dinner with my friend - the food is simple yet authentic and homely. The location is super as it's literally tuck behind oxford street, great for meeting friends during the week. The decor feels slightly dated, yet the food is delicious and potion is generous for the price point - about £2-5 less per dish than average Chinatown restaurants.
We are aware that Hubei and Hunan cuisine is their best speciality but we also want to get something a bit less spicy to balanced it out - and here is what I would recommend:
(1) Fried chicken gizzards with wild chilli is surprisingly good - the right balance of crunch and tender with a nice kick from the heat.
(2) The frog leg dry pot is nicely seasoned and definitely hit my right spot.
(3) I'm definitely a soupy person hence I really like their winter melon and spare rib soup. It's very light, fresh and hearty for a winter night like this.
The restaurant is really amazing! I love every dishes here. The dishes are so authentic and delicious. We will definitely come again
Great meal i have had in this restaurant. i have ordered 3 different dishes to share with my friend; Kung po chicken, King prawns with broccoli and pork belly with pickled vegetables. it is not dissapointed us at all, it taste very good and delicious. There are varieties of szechuan diahes to choose in the menu. I will revisit again one day to try other dishes.
My recent visit to the Sanxia Renjia restaurant was outstanding. The atmosphere was inviting, the service was impeccable, and the staff's menu recommendations were spot on. Sharing multiple dishes, we were pleased with the generous portion sizes, offering great value for money and even got some to take home for lunch the next day! I'm looking forward to returning to try out their karaoke room downstairs with my friends. It's a highly recommended dining spot for its overall excellence and added entertainment.
The lamb cumin stir fried is the most delicious. Ma La Xiang Guo is cheap and includes many different foods. Besides, there are some comfortable rooms as Karaoke rooms. The restaurant also is in a convenient location
I love this place. Can't wait to go back to try other dishes. The roast duck were delicious. Ordered more than what I could eat. Staff were kind enough to explain what ingredients where in the roast duck as I had allergies. Friendly staff. Great Atmosphere!!!
The food were amazing! Heard a lot about this place and wanted to share the experience with some friends. Everyone was really happy and we are already talking about going again.
The dish in the middle of the photo were the famous fish dish, spicy and you will be sweating buckets while eating it but it is so worth it ! The cumin lamb is a must for anyone who loved Lamb. Trust me you won't be disappointed. The other dishes that we ordered were all yummy, I will be going back very often from now on!
The pork liver is delicious and so does the stir-fired pinch. The spicy fish is not bad as well. There is a KTV on -1 floor and would be free for 5 hours if the the dinner cost more than £350.
Great authentic Sichuan Chinese food. It was our friend’s birthday today and they gave us some complimentary pickled vegetables. Delicious!!
Had a lovely meal here this evening. Staff and service were wonderful and food was fantastic. Fresh and unique ingredients, and great portions. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
We used Sanxia for Chinese New Year team lunch in the office for about 60-70 people for the first time and everyone loved the food. There were a variety of different options which were recommended by the restaurant team, mix of meats and vegetarian dishes that suited most needs, but most importantly the quality of food was great. The delivery was a bit late but this is so the food arrives hot, which wasn't a problem at all. Overall experience is extremely positive and i wouldn't think twice next time we need Chinese food, i know where to go. Pork belly and roast duck were the most popular items. Thank you!
Their roasted fish is so great and authentic! Every bite was reminding me of Chongqing! Will definitely come again with my friends
The service is good if it was not busy what we had was dry hotpot which was very good. However their drink there wasn’t as good as their friend so if you go there hello recommend drink water and make it out of the fourth there rather than drinking. But overall it’s a good place to eat Chinese food or for delivery I recommend this place. It can be towards pricy side of the food and occasionally they may mess up the order a bit. But overall it’s good
Came in for a quick lunch and it was exactly what I wanted! The olive green fried rice with minced pork was very tasty and very hearty. You can't really beat the price of £7 for a hearty lunch.
Of course, the service wasn't great, but I don't really come to restaurants like this for services anyway.
Delicious authentic food - spicy, numbing, yummy
Large portions
Fast service
Friendly staff - thank you!
Tasty food with good service, love this place so much!
