The turkish food served here is very tasty. Can be slightly pricey but they do serve massive portions. We ordered the mixed grill platters. It gets very busy making service slightly slow. Often hard to get a waiters attention.

I got married recently and me and my husband arranged for us and 30+ people to have dinner at kervans and i have to say we were all really pleased with the food and the service. The food tasted fantastic as usual, all cooked really well and the flavours were amazing. The service was excellent. I cant imagine it would be easy to wait on a party of 30+ people but they did a brilliant job. The staff were friendly, polite and didnt keep us waiting. Whatever we needed they provided and they would check on us every so often to see if we needed anything else. Everyone really enjoyed it and a few of us are planning to go back soon, we are missing the food :)

I have been there a few time and its never been a let down, always get free sides some aubergine dip plus yoghurt and potatoes along with pita bread.  The adana Kebab is the best its almost very reasonable about 15GBP per person.  A good place if you have kids as well the only down side it can be really noisy at times. The portions are big and really more than enough and the bread is always warm and fresh which i really love

Verdict deffo a place worth checking out if you are after a reasonable turkish meal

I've been to both Edmonton branches of Kervan and personally prefer this one.

My main gripe with other branch is that it seats way too many people too bunched together, which gets really uncomfortable after a while. And the noise levels get insanely stupid, I have to shout to be heard (which i hate).

This newer branch is more seating friendly although when busy the noise still ramps up quite a bit.

Food wise the Lahmacuns were really nice. Served on a wooden block piping hot and huge. Really good crisp base and tasty topping.

The Kervan Special was enough for four people, but the time it took to arrive was so long we thought they forgot about us. The food didn't arrive steaming/sizzling hot as i expect from a place like this. Most of the meats were bordering on cold which was dissapointing.

The Levrek Izgara (Sea Bass) was the star of the show. Full of flavour and presented well. In the end that's what we all wanted to eat. Extra mark just for that alone.

Decent turkish food. Nothing special - I've had better. However, food aside, lovely waterfall and good for parties. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would come back but no rush.

Our go-to for Turkish grill for the family. One of the best in North London, I highly recommend. Full of flavours and their bread is fluffy and thicker compared to other restaurants. Very good service too, everyone is very nice and attentive.

Restaurant Review: Kervan, Edmonton, Church Street Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Party of 2 Kervan is a delightful Turkish and Middle Eastern eatery located on Church Street in Edmonton. As soon as my girlfriend and I stepped in, we were greeted with a buzzing and light-filled ambiance. The modern and relaxing setting, adorned with a captivating waterfall in the corner, instantly caught our attention. Opting to sit next to the massive windows, we enjoyed the natural light that streamed in. The only slight drawback was the snug seating, but it didn't bother us much. The service at Kervan was impeccable. Despite the growing crowd, the attentive staff made us feel like we were the only customers in the restaurant. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food was brought to the table by friendly waiters and waitresses. My girlfriend chose the Turkish breakfast for two, accompanied by some Turkish tea, while I opted for the lamb meat and chips with sparkling water. In true Turkish style, our table was filled with an array of delicious treats, including bread, salad, and cold meze, which were complimentary additions to our ordered dishes. Flory, our main waitress, was exceptionally nice and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Although my girlfriend and I have different tastes, we both relished the flavors at Kervan. The lamb and chips were cooked to perfection, and the Turkish breakfast offered a delectable selection of dishes. I requested hot chili, and although the provided sauce had a bit of a kick, I would have preferred an even spicier option. Nonetheless, I understand that chili preferences can vary widely among diners. The presentation of the food was visually appealing, with well-plated dishes complemented by fresh salads and vegetables. I couldn't find a single thing to dislike about the meal—it was a culinary delight. As the restaurant filled with families on this Sunday visit, we were impressed by how the quality of service remained top-notch. Kervan maintained its cleanliness throughout, and the spotless bathroom was a testament to their attention to detail. Portion sizes were more than generous, and the bill came at a reasonable price for the amount of food and beverages we enjoyed. We even ordered some hummus with lamb (Humus Kavurma) and a portion of lamb and chips to take away, along with two refreshing Effes beers. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Kervan for any occasion. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a relaxed dining experience, Kervan delivers with its excellent food, quick and friendly service, and "Fi-Friendly" portion sizes. If you find yourself craving Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine in Edmonton, head to Kervan on Church Street—you won't be disappointed!

Long established Turkish Restaurant, quality has never dropped since my first visit 10yrs ago. (Price gone up a lot, but still worth it) Highly recommended!

Fabulous experience! My family and I took the extra large portion of shared platter. No regrets there, so much food provided we had to take the rest home in 2 large boxes! Quality is magnificent, so much different meat provided as well as sausages and rice. Couldn't have been better, although I wish I lad a smaller breakfast that morning 😋 lesson learnt. 10/10 would come back again!

A pretty solid option for a good Turkish meal. We ordered the Kervan special platter with an additional plate of lamb chops and ribs. We also had the lamachun for starters accompanied with the usual complimentary salads, sauces and fresh breads. All this food comfortably fed 6. Food was cooked fresh, came promptly and tasted fantastic. The highlights from the platter for me were the ribs (hence the extra order!) and the adana kebabs. All the meat was laid on a generous portion of bulga rice and a scattering of chicken and meat doner. Service was spot on as usual. Would 100% recommend trying this place out.

We have been coming here for years, and the food has always been amazing! Fresh and always cooked well, one of very few places my kids love to eat at. Its a nice environment for the kids aswell as they have a little fish/waterfall display. Staff are friendly, and the food comes out in no time. We usually order the Kervan extra special, and we always have loads to takeaway. Customer parking is limited, but there's lots of side streets. A must try if you like your turkish/Mediterranean food.

Very nice experience made even better by my waitress Flory. The best waitress I've had for a long time. She was very attentive and we didn't need for anything. I would go again just for the service. The Lahmacun and salad was on point. The renovation of the outside was also very clean and well put together. They even brought out smoke to remove a swarm of small gnats that I complained about.
