The German Deli - London - Photo album

Very nice shop, good assortment on German products and lovely and helpful staff (all of them German speaking). You can preorder in shop or calling them.
As always a pleasure to visit to stock up on those much needed German sauces & of course Liquorice. If you need anything German food wise then a trip here (& their hot food stall at Borough Market) is a must
It’s a very small shop, but you’ll be able to find most things you want
Good mix of German quality products for a very reasonable price. Both the offline and online shop cover a wide range of regional products across Germany and the prices are roughly what you would pay in German. The brands chosen are genuine and of good quality. Very friendly staff and orders come sec
German Deli have many foods from Germany which are otherwise hard to find in the UK and recently managed to deliver just in time for the weekend for a fantastic barbecue. I have been a customer for a long time and cannot recommend them enough. Höchst empfehlenswert!
Nice shop and good selection of German food at very fair prices. I went here to buy some items for a Bavarian breakfast i was hosting. Some nice cheese, cold meats and wurst, they have them in a cold counter and slice them for you. I was a tad confused when i picked up some weißwurst the assistant t
Great selection of German delicatessen, I highly recommend the Schoko-Brownie Ritter Sport!
The German Deli has been here for years. It's usually extremely busy with the staff rushed off their feet but still super efficient (if a bit brusque in a cliched German way occasionally.) If they don't have your desired product in stock, they'll usually order it pretty quickly. They got me some Ka
It's a great little store with lots of German specialities that you miss if you moved abroad. The only down side is that the prices are super high especially compared to what they'd be like in Germany. I know they have to get imported but especially the chocolates are insanely pricey.
German little deli. German sausages and cabbage and puddings from Dr. Oetker and nice pretzels. I like this store. They have also a stall on Borough market so you can try some of their delicacies there. Absolutely tasty.
Absolutely love this place. My partner and I have been looking for somewhere to buy German food and this shop has lots of old favourites that my partner remembers from his childhood. We love that we can get things like landjaeger, which is something we've only been able to buy when we go to Germany.
As usual, the best german sausages on town. The kasekrainer is simply delicious!
I'm very grateful to the dude at the German Deli stall at Broadway Market. I bought some Club Mate today and accidentally shattered one of the bottles right after paying. The shopkeeper kindly gave me a replacement bottle and cleaned up the glass. What a legend.
For £4.50 you can't go wrong with the bratwurst. On a cold day it will warm you up a treat. The sauerkraut is plentiful as well which is always a plus. There's usually a queue so if you can head over after 2pm then it will be much quicker!
German food is somewhat underexplored as a cuisine in the UK, and yet it has some interesting things to offer. That makes this a really interesting shop for people who, like me, crave variety in their diet. I'm a big fan of spätzle, and you can buy both fresh and dried versions here. Their website s
Mein Gott, what would Londons German Community without the Deli. Love the local specialities - even so a bit pricey at times I would always come back. Super staff, always service with a smile which is even rare in Germany. Has kids of German kitchen must haves and support one who likes the fast trac
Being in Scotland we don't have the luxury to drop in (these days much less, anyway) so we have bought goods through their mail order service via their website. The website is clear and easy to navigate with a search engine which will take both German and English descriptions. There are specific da
This place offers a good selection of German products. Great service, you can order products from Germany, if you are missing anything. Prices are reasonable, given that products are not bought in huge volumes and have to be imported.
Very friendly Staff. Stock was limited on Monday when I visited. Sadly, the imbiss in Borough market has ceased to trade. If you like knodel they have a good variety and bratwurst in the shop.
