I can't believe how good this little place was. The service set the scene - top notch friendly helpful and engaging. Then the pizza came out in a jiffy - 5 stars for that with extra topping at no charge. Then I had the strongest coffee I've ever had - they tell me it's Algerian - wow Highly recommend the Olive !
The food was amazing And the staff were lovely

Many thanks from FW Club
Delicious thin crust pizza that won't break the bank - please never change, Olive!
Highly recommendable. Best pizza to lowest prices. Great quality, need to try!
Honestly, the BEST pizza I've had in London! These guys just know how to make perfect pizzas every time. The prices are good (you can top up on toppings for a quid each) and the atmousphere always relaxed. My favourite is the pepperoi with spinach, goats cheese and sweet corn (comes to under a tenner). Once you go there you'll never want pizza anywhere else. Might go there now
Super pizzas at rock bottom prices. Absolutely the best pizzas in London and only a stones throw from work!!!
Love this place
The peeps are nice too
Quaint little restaurant with great food, good prices, and very friendly service.
Wonderful place I must admit. So far the best place to have a £3 margarita pizza in London. They have great desserts too for chocolate lovers.
Can happily say this place has been the best pizza discovery i have made till date and im sure everyone in hoxton and shoreditch is happy to reside in a close proximity! Their pizzas are delicious thin crispy italian style oven baked to perfection! My usual option is the margharita (£2.99) with rocket! Seriously its not even about the price they have other amazing recipes too but this simply does justice for me! Always a warm smile and welcome by staff and management.
If you are looking for a quick on the go sort of a lunch then this place is just appropriate for you. You can get delicious freshly bake pizzas for a meagre amount and you would feel that this is great value for money. If you visit during the peak rush hours then it might be hard for you to find a place for you to sit. You can also enjoy your meal in the sun on a bright sunny day while being seated in the outdoor.
This is a nice place to go to if you love Italian food like me . I absolutely love this pace . The food is brilliant , everything freshly prepared , and perfectly seasoned too . It' s a visual delight too . The prices are a bit high but totally worth it for the food you get .

This place is more local caff than Meditteranean café. Cheap and cheerful is the name of the game here – with basic tables and chairs and a few paintings on the wall to avoid it becoming too drab. They’re known for their value-for-money pizzas, cooked in a dedicated van parked up outside the café. This is what brought me to the place yesterday. I can’t claim that the pizzas here are exactly authentic, but they’re more than a cut above your average pizza takeway joint. These have a thin base, nicely crisped but where they differ from a more Italian pizza is that they’re not shy of loading the thing with toppings, rather than a few artfully arranged additions. I had the Mexicana – jalapenos, peppers and chilli flakes, which also, surprisingly, came with a great deal of rocket. It was a tasty pizza, cooked well, if not as spicy as I would have liked. The cheese was nicely stringy and there was plenty of it, a little more tomato on the base wouldn’t have gone amiss. My 12-incher (which at first I thought I wouldn’t finish – how naïve of me) was only £5!
The café seems to be quite a friendly place, with clearly quite a few local regulars. One young lad came in to say hello and explained he hadn’t been in for a while because he’d had a falling out with his friend who’d stolen something from him. The guy behind the counter counselled him to forgive and forget but the lad was having none of it. You don’t steal PS3 controllers from your mates!
It was pretty empty when I went in but a steady trickle of people ordering pizzas to take away arose, and a group of local hipsters came in for a catch up and a pizza each (making me feel a lot better about my greedy guts having a whole one to myself). They also have sandwiches and a surprisingly varied amount of coffees to order.
Is this pizza that you would walk through fire to have just one bite? No. There’s nothing ‘artisan’ about it, no bleating on about locally sourced ingredients. But it’s tasty and no-nonsense and I’d happily pop in here again to satisfy my pizza cravings.
The Siciliana (with tomato, mozarella, anchovies, capers and olives) is the best pizza I have had in London. Very thin crust, and not fatty tasting at all. Some of the other pizzas (such as the salami or the florentine) have been a little bland in comparison. Be warned that the quality of charcuterie toppings is not great here. Their pizza oven is small, so if you order for a table for four, two people will get their pizzas first and 10 minutes later the next two pizzas will arrive. You can't beat prices here. A whole 12 inch pizza margherita is £2.99.
Visited this place few years ago and been recommending it since. Delicious pizza with really well made toppings (in house and fresh), we were served despite being rather late. Also prices are fantastic and very refreshing in comparison with most of London.
Really lovely staff and amazing pizza! It’s so affordable for the quality of the food. Would highly recommend.

Great pizza menu, and the pizza tastes absolutely amazing. You can taste the extra virgin oil in the pizza base and you get good value for your money.
This was a great find. We were visiting the area for Columbia Flower Market and wanted a sit down meal in the warmth. The pizza was delicious, the dough made freshly daily, as well as fresh ingredients, and the prices were so reasonable. It meant we could eat out as a family. So happy we found Olive today 😁
In the main road Hoxton, next to the city the most tasty pizzas affordable and magnificent customer service. The level of humbleness given to me by the owners was amazing. He offered us a beautiful latte and tea at the end just for courtesy
Hidden gem. Doesn’t look like much, but really tasty pizza, very good value and a lovely host
Great little place.
Food is nice and fresh and very fairly priced.
Really good pizza and outdoor seating. Delicious fresh salads as well.
Lovely wee place! We got 2 delicious 12 inch pizzas, one for under a fiver and one for £7! Amazing value and very friendly and helpful staff, wish i lived nearby!
Delicious pizza's and lasagne. The lasagne sauce was very nice. My son was very happy with his margarita with sweet corn and olives and chocolate milkshake. The atmosphere was very relaxed and staff was very friendly.
Great cafe, friendly staff and the Lasagne here is tasty!
Best pizza in hackney
nice clean shop
Will definitely go back !!
I go a lot to here. Nice people who run it and nice coffee.
I went to Olive for the first day as a mother day invite from my lovely DD.
We had a choice of different sandwiches full of Mediterranean flavours
We opted for the chicken/avocado, sundried tomatoes/mushrooms and halloumi/humous ones
They were delicious and toasted to perfection
We had it with coffee and could choose from an array of good quality brands.
I had a Blueberry tart to finish
The staff were very kind and made me feel welcome despite my disability.
They were engaging without being involved in our table conversation as I like it.
They were very understanding of their customers needs by not only patiently explaining the options on offer but by listening and making efforts to get customers what they fancy.
I will definitely go back because it nice to go to those who have a nice boutique but also show appreciation to their customers
Stumbled upon ‘Olive’ today as we were drawn to the window by the lovely cake selection. We were served by the owner himself, Jakob who was just lovely and had excellent customer care. We walked away with yummy treats for such a reasonable price and Jakob even gave us a cheeky cheesecake on the house. We had a little look at the menu and they do a wide range of pizzas, sandwiches and pastries (super cheap) Can’t wait to come back. Support local!
I visited the olive cafe few times ago and i tried their pizzas and cakes it was very tasty and the pizzas was alright, but recently I had a neapolitan pizza and i think it was the best pizza I had ever 😃. The bearded chef made it deliciously and amazingly like the way I like the pizza 👍
Thank you very much for the staff too they were very friendly ,I will see you soon 😊🍕🍕🍕
Best place to eat and the greatest service never felt so welcomed in my life, honestly the owner is amazing and treats everyone with such respect. Would recommend at all times & can guarantee you will not regret
I really love this place!
The food, the atmosphere, the staff, the prices all great. Whenever I take work colleagues out to lunch, I always take them there if they haven't been there before.
Wonderful, if a bit small!
P.S. you must taste their pizzas if you go there, they are magnificent!
