The food at Biwon is amazing. Everyone else already said everything about the food so there isn't much to add. It really is what everyone says.

What I do want to mention is that the seating is a bit cramped but it is not as bad. I met wonderful people thanks to the cramped seatings haha. Anywho, I sincerely appreciate for the help you have given me for choosing my lovely meal. I loved it.

I saw the chalkboard from a far on my way back home, I wondered what was written. It said Korean BBQ for lunch! I was so thrilled when I read this. I went straight inside and buzz through the menu which I could barely understand. Thankfully the waiter gave me a couple of recommendations for my budget.  (20pounds)

Few moments later after I got my drinks, I was surprised once again with the huge amount of food and the SMELL. I still can remember that flavoursome sizzling sound. Unforgettable experience!

First of all, I am a huge Korean food fan and I can even speak it a little.
I was surprised by how many korean restaurants in London there were when I visited. But most of them are either too noisy or dirty. The food quality varied from restaurant to restaurant. However, among them what stood out the most was Biwon Korean restaurant.

I have a vast range of experience in food tasting. I actually do it for my career, but I dont usually write reviews.
Biwon has an subtle interior that suits in well with their name. they have been running for over 12 years which is outstanding. I wish I could of come here 10 years ago to taste their quality. Anyways, the food was immaculate, not so much sugar nor msg, beautiful amount of food for 1 person portion and an outstanding waiters.

Anyone should try this if you want to taste proper Korean food.

Good food. Authentic and good price too. Rice cake is spicy enough. The boiled pork is one of the best in London. The rice wine is typical and usually imported from Korea.

Lovely real proper non-chain restaurant, with real inimitable Korean flavours, owned by lovely people who dish out fantastic food with a good service. This is proper London street food!

Good value and tasty!. I am a recent convert to the joys of Korean food and really enjoyed the lunch I had here yesterday.

The barbecue set lunch options offer excellent value for money as you get a sizzling plate of meat with bean sprouts, kimchi, rice and miso soup for less than £9. The Bi-won version of Kimchi (pickled Korean spicy vegetables) was quite tame. I have heard that each restaurant does their own version of this so maybe I'm just used to a spicier version. We chose barbecue pork and sliced beef from the lunch menu.

The pork sizzled delightfully as it arrived at our table. The menu promised that this dish came with a spicy kick but in my opinion it could have been cranked up a couple of notches for my palate but it was very tasty. Looks were definitely deceiving as far as the sliced beef was concerned; it seemed limp and lifeless on the hot plate but it tasted lovely and was delightfully sweet with what my girlfriend thought was a hint of pear.

The service was great; they didn't even bat an eyelid when I asked to be guided through the rules of engagement with Korean food. Apparently the rice is your base and you balance the spice of the kimchi with the softer flavour of the sprouts and finish with your meat.. I'm a big fan of Dotori in Finsbury Park and now I'm very happy to have an alternative when in town.

Bi Won is a nice, small and cozy space - quite a bit different from the enormous, multistory Korean BBQs I am used to in New York. Since it was lunch and we had a vegetarian on board we decided to skip the gluttonous grill your own meat experience. We sta

One of the best and most surprising tasting experience in London. Bi Won offers a great insight of what Korean culture and tasting experience should be.

Having tried the very well cooked and full of flavour Kimchi and Bibimbap, I believe to have tasted Korean food at its finest. my only regret is that I didn't have the opportunity to try any more of the Korean food specialities.

Furthermore, the very simplistic restaurant decoration (very far from being cliché) and smiling waiting staff  make the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Great Korean restaurant with a homey feel to it. Food selection was great and staff were friendly. If I really have to critique the food then the only thing I would say is that the fried chicken was not as crispy as I want them to be, but each to there own, and overall everything was very delicious. If you want nice authentic Korean food around the area then look no further. Would recommend.

This is THE Best Korean restaurant in Europe. I am korean. This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Europe. We waited for the table for 20~30mins. It was worth the wait. We didn't think we were going to drink with dinner, but the food reminded me too much of Korea. I had to enjoy my food with soju and beer! With my girl friend, we drank 5 bottles of soju and 2 beers. The fried chicken was Korean market style. I loved it! Budaechigae was just the right level of spicy and all they don't skimp on ingredients. Service was so great, and such a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait for my next visit!!!

Very nice meal. I ordered GunManDu (dumplings) and Yukge Jang (spicy beef stew). The GunManDu were crispy and tasty but I found them quite oily. The Yukge Jang was delicious. Lots and lots of pulled beef some veg and egg in a spicy broth. The item had 2 chillies in the menu but it was not as spicy as I thought it would be. Nevertheless I loved it.

The food here was soo soo incredible. Had to wait a little while to get a table and the restaurant seemed very busy (which is a good sign anyway haha) but when we did get seated the service was quick and friendly the food was amazing. Kimchi pancake was the best i’ve ever eaten it was so tasty, the food came out quickly and everything was reasonably priced. 10/10 ! :^)

Pretty good, it's one of the better Korean restaurants in the area, but there are better ones in London. Food quality and portion size are nice, but some dishes are a little pricey It's also quite busy and a bit of a squeeze, you should definitely look to book in advance as it's full a lot of the times

Kimchi Beef Bulgogi was good but a bit spicy. Fried chicken, we had a half&half (soy and the other I forgot what the flavor was), the sauces tasted delicious but some of the chicken were too dry. Bibimbap was good! 10% services charge.

So far best cold noodle (냉면) and jjambbong (짬뽕) place in London…! It’s really hard to find a decent Korean cold noodles place in London but Biwon knows how to make their cold noodles 👏🏻 Although I would recommend adding some ice when serving to make it colder🧊! Their service is very good and foods are tasty and a good portion. I recommend booking this place before as it gets very crowded during lunch and dinner time🍽

Since it's a restaurant that celebrities have been to, my expectations were a bit high at first, and I was even a bit worried that I'd be disappointed. But in the end, the taste of the food far exceeded expectations and was simply delicious! The service was fantastic! Small store but friendly service! Suggestion Jokbal- Traditional Korean Pork Knuckle and Feet Soy chicken wings- Korean fried chicken We have 2 people. Ordered two mains, a soup, and a fried rice. Also ordered beer and drinks. The portion was big that we didn't finish it and packed two big boxes.

I loved it! Went there with my Korean friends and they said that it is quite close to how they cook in Korea. We ordered crispy fried chicken, soy fried chicken, and two different stews (I can't remember the names, but one was milder and the other was spicier, they both had meat in them).

The wait is long. Be sure you get in the queue beforehand. Must order: Bossam and Pork Bone Stew. They treat the meat very well and you can taste the difference. It’s a sense of craftsmanship!

Truly a great business. The staff is always so nice, a great cozy ambiance inside and amazing delicious Korean food. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants I’ve found so far staying in London. I’ve visited here four times now, and every time, the food was awesome. I’ve tried the kimchee stew, japchae, kimchee tofu, and yangneum fried chicken. All of these were so delicious, and flavorful, but I couldn’t recommend the yangneum fried chicken enough. It’s a dish I think everyone would love. Definitely coming back and bringing more hungry friends! Thank you BI WON staff!! 🥰💕🍗🥬🍖🍜🍚🍲

A lovely small Korean BBQ restaurant v. near the British museum. The food is good, the service is attentive and polite. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Very broad menu, with lots of choice. Only 2 BBQs though, which was a disappointment for my party. However, if you book you can reserve one. Good quality meal. 3 people £100 wasn't a bad deal.
