So we booked a pizza party, but the company we booked it through booked the day before! Ava was brilliant though. Whilst waiting outside trying to contact the company. She told us to come inside and have pizza and prosecco anyway. So we still got to enjoy food and pudding. This place was very accomodating, and went out of there way to help. Thanks to Ava and the team.x
Dough balls were really good. And all their pizzas tasted finely good
I came very hungry out of the British Library and was so happy about the Pizza Express right across the street! The Pizza i had was very good! My mums Lasagne was delicious aswell! We had a very nice waiter! I can totally recommend this place!
This bright and airy Pizza Express outlet opposite King's College on the Strand serves great thin crust pizzas, a good selection of wines, terrific desserts (all as pictured) with efficient and friendly staff. Β A good place to park and linger awhile.

Thin crust Pizza's at its finest. No reason why you would not want to try all that is too offer. I always judge a pizza first by it's margarita and then move up. This didn't disappoint one bit.
We were in London gearing up for a comedy show later that evening in Covent Garden and our friends suggested that we meet up at PizzaExpress, which is situated just across from Charing Cross tube

Best pizza and friendly staff! Maria , Anthonio and the manager were super nice! This place is a perfect example for anybody to know how to manage and give 100% of service to their customers. To be honest, Pizza express become my favourite pizza place after I visit there. I would definitely visit again!!! Highly recommended!

Visited Pizza Express for a spot of Lunch with the girls after a film at Somerset House. We all really Enjoyed our pizza it was a perfect lunch to end a busy day.
Downloaded the app and got some Free Dough balls and once payed I received some rewards for my next visit.
It's worth downloading the app, I should have downloaded first before ordering, or I would have got some better deals.
I will use them next time.
Staff were friendly the guy was very helpful.
I would definitely go again. Maybe one closer to home best time.

Really good Pizza Express branch - the food was great and everything came out super fresh and hot. Excellent service during our visit, the staff were attentive and the manager in particular really looked after us. Close proximity to theatres around the North Bank area so a great spot to eat at without having fight through the busy Covent Garden area.

What a lovely way to kick off my 2023 Pizza Express Challenge (to visit every restaurant in London). This was a birthday celebration with friends from St. Giles, dining at the Aldwych branch.
Atmosphere: 17/20 I thought this was a quaint and atmospheric restaurant. Loved the floral contributions. It is situated on the Strand and has a beautiful view of St. Mary Le Strand Church from just outside.
Quality of food: 15/20 This was a good quality Pollo Pesto with no mushrooms and the Coppa Gelato came with plenty of chocolate sauce. Unfortunately, we were too late for dough balls as they had run out and it was not possible to order hot drinks after the meal.
Staff friendliness and efficiency: 16/20 The manager was very helpful when making the booking for 15 people. We were well looked after with the waitress bringing the food out and knowing who had ordered each dish (we had to pre-order our food). The waiter was charming, engaged in conversation and was apologetic for forgetting to bring me a straw after a busy day.
Cleanliness: 17/20 The restaurant was clean and comfy and our table was well prepared for the 8pm start.
Overall enjoyment: 16/20 I would definitely go back.

Brilliant experience at Pizza Express today! Staff were so friendly and were so kind to our children, even introducing them to the chefs and letting them watch the chefs make food! Highly recommend, it was worth every penny for our families to eat here
A solid four stars. It won't blow you away, but service was efficient, the pizza was pretty good, and the price not absurd. I would definitely come back because I liked the place, and because in many parts of the city they are the only option...
We have booked the table for dinner before the theatre show and went as a grouping of 7. Our table was looked after by Issa who was very attentive and engaging with our children. The atmosphere was lovely as always it was busy, the service was smooth. We tried the new pizza La Cubana which was lovely, plus some favourite which was Bbq burnt ends and prawn garlic, which was also nice , although Iβm not a fan of sea food on pizza I really enjoy the slice! The only down bit was that we had to rush through our food as we had to be in the theatre at 7:30 and arriving at 6pm we thought we had enough time to sit through the meal and enjoy it quietly. Our food arrived after 7pmβ¦but the atmosphere and all experience was absolutely lovely!
I said I was coming back and I did... I went for a Calzone this time and WOW! this was yummy, I then treated myself even further to a lemon and white chocolate dessert... I just love Pizza Express, great service also and a lovely atmosphere... See you again soon :)
Had a great experience at Pizza Express in Aldwych on Saturday afternoon. Loved the atmosphere and decor, and the service was efficient. Felipe the manager did a great job at explaining the menu, and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

Went for a work dinner and the staff were absolutely first class. They were so accommodating to our group, and also really friendly. Food came out quickly, well prepared, and very tasty too! A great night out and 100% worth walking a little further up the Strand for. We plan on going back for our next work dinner.

Visited this restaurant for a second time last night for a works do. It really is a lovely restaurant with such friendly and happy staff. Great atmosphere, good music. The food was perfect, and our various dietary needs all catered for. We really couldn't ask for more.
