A very elegant and relaxed place to have breakfast, the food was good but personally I found the sourdough toast used for the cheese bruschetta a bit chewy and hard on the borders but has a nice rye after taste

Amazing sourdough bread, flakey croissants and mouth-watering cookies. That's right, I really love Poilâne ever since I tried it in Paris for the first time. The history of the business is really interesting too if you fancy a browse on my blog!

Unfortunately I can’t give them more then 5 stars… what a beautiful corner of belgravia… bread is super good, lovely people working there and such a good smell. Luckily who lives near to them 😆 Highly recommend! GO!

Friendly clerk with delicious food. I will buy more if my stomach and luggage have more space. I usually don’t like croissant but theirs are great.

I came here to buy their famous sourdough breads for my brother, though I have later on found that you can get it from Waitrose as well. But I was happy that I decided to visit this small place and I got the best pain au Chocolate I've ever had. I also talked to a regular customer when I was there, according to her Poilane has the best croissants that she only eats the croissants from here. I've tried it, but I still love the freshly baked hot croissants from Pret A Manger better.

One of the best croissants I've had in London (which says a lot as this is very near Dominique Ansel). Very good sourdough as well and I like that you can get any portion you need from a slice to a whole loaf.

Some of the best bread in London, period. Great staff, espresso is also incredible, and the smell of the shop is to die for.

I have only just discovered the Poilane rye and raisin loaf. I had to use my mini hacksaw, which is the highest praise I can give. The opposite extreme to the fluffy stuff in the supermarkets. The most delicious bread I've eaten.

Decent sourdough but pricey at >£6/kg. Will be sticking to my East London bakeries

Always a good service, probably the best sourdough in the world, nice jam preserve and four gras, unique ice cream. A real wood oven bakery in middle of London

Fantastic little bakery inthe heart if Belgravia. Their bread is the most exquisite sourdough. You can buy by weight and they can slice it ther for you so it is always fresh. Their biscuts are delicious too particularly with a fresh expresso to balance out the richness.

I've been buying things from this delightful shop for years. It has become quite an institution. IMHO it is central London's best craft bakers. Long may it continue!
