I have been to many Chinese restaurants in London - including many in HK where I was born. This is one of the best outside China - and I'm amazed it's just down the road from my flat. It's Northern Chinese food here - and there are some amazing dishes to try.
Coffee Ribs were kind of cool - but definitely order the Tofu and Lamb dish in the house specials.
The interior isn't anything to write home about, and the service is definitely a family vibe - but I highly recommend it - totally authentic, feels like I'm in a restaurant in Wan Chai.

The most authentic Chinese I've had in Europe. I've missed this kind of food since we moved back from China. Loved the 鱼香茄子 (fish flavored eggplant) and the 口水鸡 (I guess saliva chicken).
Really good authentic Chinese place. Nice simple surrounding and extensive menu.
Oh gosh. Authenticity is so rare these days, what a heartfelt discovery - flavours that will fly you to northeastern China, down to earth welcome and super kind and considerate service. What more can one ask for. Perhaps a flat next door :)
already better than expected. Soup and cold dish is really good. using additive for spicy seasoning. Chicken is not as fresh and good as recommended. Service is really good.
It was so good I had to come back before leaving London. Such a sweet staff and great food. I had the sour tomato soup, seeking comforting flavors, and I definitely found them.
My favourite chinese restaurant in London!
The portions are huge and perfect for sharing- its worth visiting with a group of 4+ to try several dishes. The food is flavourful and authentic chinese, the ingredients are great quality too.
The menu is big so make sure you have someone who knows what to order, or just show them these pictures! For 5 ,we ordered 5 dishes with rice and drinks for £23 each.
Would recommend to everyone, a big difference from chinese restaurants in Chinatown.
Very authentic homemade food, highly recommend. The staff are very nice and friendly, excellent service
Thought this was very good and excellent value for money.
The cereal prawn was excellent, crispy and not greasy at all.
Also very much enjoyed the green beans with mince.
The decor is quite simple so adjust your expectations accordingly.
Huge menu so worth checking other reviews or asking staff for advice!
A lovely Chinese couple runs this take away/eat-in place. The food is authentic, service is really really good, price is reasonable. If I pass by again, I will come in for sure.
Found this via Google. Looks unlikely but fantastic. Bit pricey for the area but authentic & scary ingredients with more traditional fayre as well. Large portions so maybe order 3 mains for 4 people
Loved the food, tasted as proper Chinese authentic which is rare. Staff was friendly and fast. Portions sizes are good. Place is very simple but food makes sure you will return. Definitely recommend their ribs with coffee sauce.
Order these dishes from the photos and I assure you that you will not regret this. The lobster noodle is to die for. Freshness and fragrance all in one plate.
