We arranged a buffet lunch following a funeral. The room we were directed to was pleasant and airy, leading into a courtyard/ garden. The weather was good which helped. The food was very good and servings generous. The staff were attentive and helpful.

Lovely people behind the bar. The William IV is a delightful pub built in the late Victorian era. Open, airy and welcoming. Not a great pub for the real ale drinkers as there are none on. Still a lovely pub. 🙃

Top venue for father's funeral service after party which about 50 people attended. An easy distance from the crematorium. Everyone was raving about quality of the buffet selection, nothing felt like too much trouble for the lovely staff and we were made to feel extremely welcome.

The Clarence Room provided by William IV for the wakes was welcoming, and the buffet offered a diverse range of delicious options. The staff involved in the inquiry and booking process and those working on the day went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. William IV recognizes the significance of providing a space for people to come together and share stories. The atmosphere was both respectful and welcoming.

Had refreshments at the William IV after my mother's funeral service. Diogo was very responsive to my email communications prior to the event and everything was as requested. The food was very good quality and the staff were attentive. They need to stock bitter - ideally draft but if not then bottled.

I stayed here for a weekend in early March for my first ever trip to London. Everything was great, the staff were very accommodating! The food and drink in the pub was also great. There is a tube station In walking distance, so I had an easy time getting around the city.

Very well located, breakfast choice is limited but taste. Room is comfortable (2adults and 2 children) and big enough for 4 .Freshly pressed orange juice is super. Will definitely recommend this place for visiting London.

We had a great experience in a restaurant. Japanese lager worth to try as well as a Sunday roast with full chicken. Stuff attentive, food amazing, garden ambience. 🤗

This "still new-to-me" pub drew us in for Thursday dinner. We were greeted very well at the bar, drinks bought and taken to the garden with menu in hand then, as promised, Jensen came to take our order and inspired confidence we'd made a good choice. After the correct wait out came our meals. Gorgeous, that's how I'd describe my Seabass Fillet meal, other half's Haddock & chips looked (as confirmed) superb too. Though I was only on lemonade, driving later, it was served with ice and lemon... this is a pub where service clearly matters. Thanks to Jensen, Chef and the team, I/we will defo go across London to visit again.

Accommodating place, good morning breakfast (you can choose among 4 choices, tried Continental and creamy mushrooms on toast, former is more filling but the latter was excellent.) Close to Paddington. Would recommend!

A great pub with both indoor and outdoor seating with heating. They play major sports events on the big screens. We went there for the World Cup football and managed to reserve two large tables. Great service from everyone in the pub. Drinks are a little on the expensive side. Haven’t had a chance to try the food but will visit again soon to give it a go. Would recommend and visit again.

Lovely historical place with a charming garden to the back and a very friendly staff who kept some cupcakes for me in the fridge for my party. Haven't stayed in their rooms.

We celebrated our son first birthday. We had a fantastic time in pre-booked Clarence room in William IV. They were very accommodating, flexible with great communication before and during the day. The buffet food for 15 people was very tasty and plentiful. We could use the sound system with our own playlist. The team is great, resourceful, and very helpful There is also an outdoor back garden, which is great when the sun is out. All the guests had a great time and had a memorable day! I recommend highly the pub for chlling, food, celebration in their private hire rooms.

I had a brilliant birthday party at William IV for about 30 people overall. They were extremely responsive on email before the event whilst organising the party which was very reassuring. I had quite a few dietary requirements to cater for and the chefs did not seem to bat an eye and prepared an amazing vegan buffet that was a real hit with everything - all quite Italian and super delicious. The bar staff were also very friendly and attentive all evening and it was a very good evening. The whole experience definitely created some new loyal customers and I was very grateful to everyone involved. Can't recommend highly enough.
