Went for Sunday brunch. Lovely welcome to into the restaurant and explained the menu and some items not currently on the menu but can be ordered. food arrived in good time, it was the right amount of spice for us, but if you have a low tolerance to spice then tell them or order a milkshake to go with it! Loved the scrambled eggs, and masala beans, my husband got keema and Chana which were both full of flavour and delicious. Portions were good and we left felling full and content. We finished off with Masala Chai which I have to say was amazing..I usually make my own masala chai and always order it at restaurants where they serve it, it was definitely one of the best I've tasted. Next time I will just get a pot of the tea with some biscuits a slice of cake. A couple of things that could make the experience better would be..a) have a card machine, seems to be a trend amongst some of the eateries in this area is to charge by cash, people don't always carry cash on them b) add some cakes/biscuits to the menu with tea

Can't argue with the desi breakfast,.soft fluffy parathas, great tea, omelettes top notch and great halva. Did not try the Angrez breakfast but otherwise would recommend... need a little improvement in service etc but great potential

Visit 1: tried the Indian breakfast with Puri, Masala omelette, Lamb Keema & Masala beans. The breakfast was flavoursome and filling, Masala Tea was perfect. Visit 2: Masala egg burger, perfectly cooked fried egg, served on a lamb patty, with crisp lettuce and tomato dressed in a spicy mayo, served on a light breakfast bap. Absolutely perfect brunch filler.

Went for breakfast with husband and we both really enjoyed this alternative to an English brekky. Food was delicious, just the right amount of spice and portion and the tea was yummy, loved the decor too! Planning on taking friends there. Parking could be better...

Amazing food and decor. Staff were very friendly. I loved the way it is a family run business with the sisters cooking the food, makes such a change to see sisters in a restaurant kitchen! Between us we ate puri, keema, beans, potato, omelette, scrambled eggs and of course cheesecake! It was all delicious! Definitely recommend it!

Went on Easter Sunday with 4 of my friends & a 3 year old baby, and had to go through a funny experience as it was fully packed and after an hr waiting we found a table but there was no staff instantly available who could clean the table as they were bzy serving other customers, as a courteousy i tried to clean my own table on which we were sitting i picked up the plates and went to drop them at the kitchen counter, 4 gentlemen came behind me and i asked me for a table of 4 and a promptly responded that i dont work here I am one of the regular customers of Chai Nashta but a small suggestion would like to give please arrange an extra staff on weekends as I have always been there mostly on sundays & you are always packed... good luck!! :)

We waited almost an hour to be served and the food came one plate at a time. But what they lacked in speed the made up for in food as everything we ordered was delicious! Parathas and puris were yummy and not oily. Food was 5 stars for me. The staff are very sweet and friendly...just need to work with organising thier service

I took my sister and mum here a few days ago for brunch and honestly it was so yummy! The staff are so nice and the food is excellent. Very flavoursome food and pretty presentation. You have to try the grilled chicken wrap shap. It's amazing. All the food was fresh and portions were very good. I would highly recommend it. i am definitely going to come again very soon. Being Indian i have very high standards of Indian food and this did not disappoint.

Amazing fresh food, really tasty roti which was soft and hot with a desi omelette, daal and chana and the tea was nice too. I think this is called the desi breakfast (first option on the menu) Nice and clean place to eat and friendly service!

Been here quite a few times. I always order the desi breakfast which comes with an omelette, chicken minced meat (keema) and 2 roti with masala tea. The service is always prompt and the staff are very courteous and professional. They only take cash. There's a Barclays free cash machine up the road (5min walk). Looking forward to having many more breakfasts at this place.

Been here a few times, and they do a variety of nice teas and lovely food. Recently, I placed an order for 100 vegetable samosas for a party I was attending. They gave me a good price and the samosas were prepared on time. And everyone at the party (all non-asian) said they loved it ❤️

Decent food, no five star as cash only! It's the year 2022!! Who has cash these days. Also guy never told me that there's no cash point outside on the same st, but insisted I go get cash. Walked in the rain for like 5 mins, with no luck.

We had a very pleasant experience here. It took quite long for the food to be prepared but it was worth the wait. The restaurant is ideal for social gatherings and a lovely place to sit and chat with family and friends.

Food was very tasty. The roti was lovely. Soft and fluffy. The puri and paratta was great too. I had the lamb keema, this was very tasty. The daal was velvety and rich. Can taste the butter through the flavours. The potato masala was not so keen, very strong on the tomato. Same with the chana. Omelette was nice. The portion was surprisingly filling. Was stuffed after our brunch. I had both the masala chai and coffee. Both were spot on. Not too sweet, not too strong on the spices. We went on Sunday midday and the restaurant was consistently busy. No table service, order at the counter. During weekends no scrambled eggs. Parking in the area is very limited. Cash only.

A hidden little gem on Upton Lane and an ideal brunch spot. The thali breakfast was massively on point. I had the omelette, masala channa, chicken keema with pooris, and masala chai. The portions are extremely generous, good service and all backed up by awesome food. My Mrs had the same but her 2 sides were masala potatoes and beans (still amazing). For under £20 we both ate to our fill. Highly recommend this joint and will be visiting again! The only issue is parking, it is all permit holders only so took us a while to find a spot, but well worth the drive. 5 stars!
