Excellent food and great value for money
My favourite restaurant in London, I try to go there at least once a week. Many thanks to the chef, who yesterday made - especially for myself and my friend - the "gorgeous" steak and Stilton pie !!
Great place for lunch, dinner of event! We had a Burns Night Supper which was really well done and good Scottish food! Don't expect to get a mobile signal down there! Also good for quizzes and sorting lunches!
We had a corporate quiz night at Steam which was brilliant! A great bar, great staff and great atmosphere. I would also recommend their Sports Personality Lunches and Evening speaking events. Some great names attend and they are really good events!
Great Quiz night at the Steam Bar. Good food and great service
Brilliant venue. We held a reunion there last night for 50 - 60 people. We had plenty of room reserved so we could walk around freely and mix. Without the usual city noisy background, we could easily converse and hear each other. Happy hour meant it was also brilliant value for money. Staff friendly and polite and lovely surroundings. A great find. Thank you Steam.
I love the steam bar. I've been coming here for over 10 years and never had a bad experience. The team are great and the food is always good. Well priced as well for the city. They also have sky sports and show cricket/golf when it's on.
I went There for a. Pub quiz. It was very well organized and surprisingly the finger food was very nice. The food served was also vegetarian friendly. My friend got a dirty glass for her drink which is the downside of the night. Generally it is a really enjoyable experience
I rented the Steam Wine Bar for my Birthday/Leaving party, and was very impressed. The venue is beautiful and elegant, drinks are affordable, and you can provide food for guests at an excellent price. The Staff were also very polite.

The place to go if you want to watch a sporting event but diners could be annoyed if they are just there for lunch.
Food is good but my eggs were very runny. Good menu however.
Staff excellent , pleasant and attentive...always there or thereabouts. Re the four tv's it should be made clear that only the manager and staff touch the tv channels and tv sound otherwise it can lead to unpleasantness. Those not interested in the sporting event should be segregated to enjoy their lunch . The City needs restaurants that show sport and I would recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous wine bar, centrally located in city of London. Good drink selection, food platters are delicious too. Great space to socialise. Stairs can be tricky to navigate after a great night at Steam wine bar

The staff is extremely nice, the food is amazing. The best steak I have eaten in a very long time. If you are in London and have a hunger for some fine steaks be sure to stop by!

Came here for a comedy night. Sharing food platters were available to order and were tasty! The service at the bar was also friendly and attentive.
Still a great venue for lunch with friends. Superb food, wine, atmosphere, staff and service. Highly recommended.

Close to the monument off of Eastcheap. Hold regular quiz nights and sports dinners. Very well run quiz for our do, good service too and the food looked good.
Really enjoyed the quiz night. Snacks are tasty. Not a great range of beers and ciders.
Great deals at happy hour, lively - basement so no windows and decor modern-ish, unmemorable but ok. Felt a little off beaten track.
