Hidden away in the basement in the heart of Notting Hill, you'll feel the warmth of this place as soon as you come down the stairs. Has a very tropical feel to it, music is good and the staff very forthcoming and nice. Great hangout with yummy cocktails.

After a disappointing trip to the Portobello Star, we went over to Trailer Happiness at 2 minutes past midnight. We knew it closed at 1 so figured this wouldn’t be too late. We were wrong. They stop letting people in at midnight apparently. But we turned on the charm and they let us in anyway. We barely had time to have one drink though before we were being turfed out half an hour later. I don’t know where people go to party on a Friday night but it certainly isn’t here! It was big but by no means full. We had many empty seats to choose from. The place really reminded me of Lounge Bohemia in Shoreditch with a sort of groovy 70s look and it felt quite funky and like it should have been busier.
My friend got the Trailer Colada which was served in a coconut which made us happy and I got a very normal-looking Golen Age which was infinitely better than the last two cocktails I’d had at the Star. I think my friend’s colada was actually pretty good, I just really don’t like coconut and it had both coconut syrup and coconut tequila in it. Mine had rum, chartreuse, crème de banana and homemade burnt butter syrup and it was a fun drink though not especially memorable.
At 12:30 we finished our drinks and I went to go to the loo before making my way all the way back East. When I tried to, the bouncer tried to direct me out of the bar instead, telling me the toilets were closed. He relented when I said very firmly that I had an hour’s bus journey ahead of me and definitely needed to go before then but what the hell Trailer? Not impressed.
Just, so, happy. The name suits the place well. I hugged a waitress on my way in. It was my first time. We didn't know each other.
They seem to really love their job because I've genuinely never seen such happy staff. They were making friends with everyone, and by the end of the evening they seemed to have had some inside jokes.
Really great vibe, really great drinks, the food was lovely but lacking a wider variety. It's a great hidden gem in Notting Hill, you'll surely miss it during the day time, and will get confused with directions, but it's right next where it says it is, just look a little harder.
A great spot for a group of friends who don't mind adopting a few others.
Great drinks and awesome service! The place was pretty chill when we went on a weeknight.
Unassuming little tiki themed bar. Central London. Interesting drinks! nothing like a Guinness based tiki drink! Good music. Service could have been better.
Such a fantastic vibe at this intimate tropical-themed bar, there's a flaming cocktail called the Winchester which uses Sipsmith V.J.O.P -- very junipery, over proof -- 57.7% i.e. navy strength! It flamed beautifully. Had a lovely chat with Lila who turned out to be quite the gin aficionado as well as a rum slinger. The menu is extensive, a beautifully curated ode to rum. Oh, and they make a mean zombie!
Doormen were so lovely helping my friend on crutches down the stairs and remembering us to help her back up again. Good music, good cocktails, would definitely come again if we’re in the area.
Great rum bar with a subtle tiki vibe. Excellent craft cocktails, I had the Three Dots & a Yuzu which is a riff on a classic tiki drink (Three Dots & a Dash). There’s also an excellent selection of rums available. Will be on my list whenever I’m in London!
Nice bar with lovely exotic wallpaper and art which serves a nice variety of cocktails. Friendly staff. From next week their kitchen will be open so food along with drinks can be ordered. I ordered the spicy margarita and really enjoyed it!
Came here for a reggae filled Bashment Brunch. Really enjoyed the food and there was a vegan option and gluten free option as well. The atmosphere was pure party!
This event was well organised and fun. The staff were friendly and polite making us all feel very welcomed.
The staff, the place, the atmosphere and the cocktails are fantastic!
Sincere greetings to Anthony, Alex, Wesley and Leila for their care and especially their SKILLS! I totally recommend the mandarina daiquiri 😊
Cheers guy and keep up your wonderful work.!
Kindest Regards
Hosted a great rum tasting with Copalli Rum at Trailer Happiness. Lovely evening with great cocktails and relaxed, classy, tropical vibe. Thanks to the staff for some great rum cocktails and hosting a brilliant event.
Fantastic bar! The drinks are always brilliant, the staff are excellent. Amazing atmosphere and top notch rum selection. A must visit!
Little gem. Great cocktail recommendations from Alex
Great selection of agricol, I enjoyed their take on a Negroni !
Welcome th Trailer Happiness!
Happened, the other night, to had a stop at this beautiful enstablised cocktail lounge bar.
In the heart of portobello, close to the market.
The place is nice and chilled, lovely atmosphere, front of staff friendly and reliable :))
A special place to celebrate an occasion or simply a nice lounge round the corner to meet up with friends.
I d love the bites they serve.
I am abstemious but judging by how fast my colleagues were drinking their cocktails they are very nice too.
Some pics for you ;)
I’m trying to go to a Tiki bar in every new city and this is the one I picked for London. I’ll give it a 2 out of 10 for authenticity. They get two points for having authentic tiki drinks on the menu. I ordered a Zombie and it came with a cool bamboo looking paper stew and a lime on fire. Tasted good too. No special tiki mug. My expectations have been set high by the California tiki bars. Nice friendly staff.
Service was great, very friendly staff.
Drinks made with good quality alcohol.
Taste wise - drinks were good but not outstanding.
Chill vibe good music.
Definitely will go again.
Amazing place! I have been in more then 30 pubs in greater London, but Trailer Happiness has the best drinks for far. Don’t think twice, just go!
Hidden gem! Went to a private fancy dress party on the lower ground floor and it was amazing! The cocktails were amazing, although the bartender refused to serve my friend drinks for reasons that still aren’t very clear. The music was on point though and the space is A1
Lovely interiors, relaxing atmosphere and amazing cocktails! We visited on a Sunday evening and we pretty much had the whole place for us! I would recommend it and I will be personally back when in the area.
