Had a super juicy and yummy chicken bao and fresh apple juice for my lunch today. I'm writing this review to clarify that unlike a lot of other reviews mentioned, this place isn't "expensive" for what they are offering! £7 for a good Bao is absolutely worth it. And we can't compare it to the fried chicken and other places. Please be kind!
This is exotic and wow. As someone who has visited Vietnam before, I got flashes of the country while eating this Bao. Absolutely will visit again and again! This place deserves more people.
Must Know: Cash only place
Best bao and boba tea in Woolwich. I love this place as it's a small independent restaurant. The food is delicious (and surprisingly filling, we each had two bao and were really full after). Also highly recommend the pickled cucumber side dish. Take into account its cash only
Great, quick dinner! Delicious food and very friendly service. The caramelized pork bao and the crispy chicken bao were awesome. We also enjoyed the lemon iced tea.

Very well located in Woolwich, walking distance to the DLR and Elizabeth line station.
Price is a bit too much for a bao in my opinion (almost £7 for one bao) but I'll somehow come back as it is delicious.

COVID-19 REVIEW (Second Wave)
Design
The design for the restaurant is intriguing as you don't know if it is a run down shack or the decor is meant to be that way. I never been to Vietnam, but the decor does have a vibe feeling of the place. But the store front and store sign looks likes it was a makeshift design.
Food
I really really like the boa, I tried the chick boa and my partner tried the caramelised pork boa. One thing I love about the dish is the design layout. The way the pieces and food were placed in the bun are so wonderful and delicious!

We also tried the coconut dessert, it was an ice-cream coconut. It wasn't amazing as I thought but my partner really loved it.
I was impressed with the coconut shell used to contain the ice-cream, that was very unique. And the portion for the ice cream was fair, cost almost £4. Unlike other places that gives ice-cream and you get a tiny Ben n Jerry's tub.
Price
Price is fine, the bun are not so feeling, though to me they are more like snacks or brunch. Though if you add drink to your meal, you can get full up. It is perfect as a breakfast or quick lunch. The price is reasonable, mostly £4 for the boa's. The meal layout, steamed bun and feeling is worth it.
Burger King meal are usually £4-6 for just a single burger, therefore you are getting equivalent to this Vib meals.
My drink was a guava juice which cost £2, and it was nice. I was not sure if it was a Sun Exotic brand or freshly made. Though it would be nice if they asked the customers if they would like ice with their drink.
Unfortunately they ONLY take cash.
Waiting
We didn't wait long to be served, it was not even busy deposit the time being around 1pm.
I had to run to get cash from cash to machine, and by the time I came back, the meal was ready!
The lady serving was the only one serving and doing the cashier and bringing food to tables. Due to this, our drink was delayed. The drink was SUPPOSED to be served first when eating at any restaurant.
Customer Service
Nothing to complain, she was very nice and served us nicely with polite attitude.
OVERALL
I highly recommend this place, if you want to try a different style food, try the boa! Price is reasonable and not pricey.

Must’ve walked past here 100 times never looked twice … after seeing the google rating thought I better give it a try … wow! absolutely delicious! Small menu, but done so well! The Bao Buns are killer
Have been going here for years, the bao is amazing and the bubble tea has definitely improved recently, however today some of the tapioca was hard, I hope the owner takes note of this. Still rating 5 stars as it's a small business and have loved this place for years.
Food was very fresh and so delicious! The guy that served us was incredibly friendly and polite aswell. Didn't get a chance to try the bubble tea but options looked great
ViB Bar is very close to the DLR and overground station within the market area. The staff is very friendly.
My friend and I tried the portobello mushroom and halloumi bao bun and we very impressed with the overall flavouring and quality. The bao prices range depending on what you order and there is indoor seating.
The restaurant only takes cash.
I love this stylish new place. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Refreshing bubble teas and I especially liked the tofu salad with fresh ingredients and super yummy!
Yummy spot to grab food before seeing The Burnt City at Punchdrunk. A few tables inside & out. Loved the salted lemonade too!
The bao here are fantastic with several vegan options and the atmosphere is relaxed and cosy. I especially loved the mushroom bao but they were all great. I also highly recommend the preserved lemon lemonade - super delicious!
I love eating here! - bao buns are always delicious and fresh. It’s a cute spot on the square and good value - would highly recommend.
