Traditional little pub tucked down a quiet side street. It had a few decent ales on draft and the usual beers on tap. The service was amiable and quick, and prices seemed fair. There's a well appointed dining area upstairs although it's modest in size. In fact the whole pub is relatively cosy in size. There's plenty of overflow outside though as people are welcome to spill out and have an after-work beer on the pavement in front when the weather permits.

Great pub with a historic feel. Bartenders were friendly and the vegetarian pie was excellent. We sat upstairs and had the room to ourselves on a Tuesday evening. Highly recommended!

Absolutely delightful proper old London pub. Hidden away in the centre of the city, well worth seeking out. Ales were superbly kept, served in glass tankards. Food was great value: pie and a pint offer well worthwhile. I'll be back!

Charming pub situated a couple of minutes walk from Cannon St station. The perfect place for a cheeky beer before getting the train home.

Great little pub next to Cannon Street station. It's like walking into an ancient village pub at dusk, whatever time you arrive. Also now doing pieminister pies

Hidden gem is over used, but this pub really is. I used to go here when I first started work in the City in the late 80’s and it hasn’t changed a bit! Staff were excellent too and the place is full of history, seems unbelievable that it was originally a riverside pub! Worth a trip when you’re around Cannon St

Tiny very old traditional pub in the city next to Cannon Street Station. There is an upstairs area for food. Toilets are downstairs. Very small stairwell. Not suitable for anyone with difficulties.

The Bell is a small pub with a great location. Right next to Cannon Street, it is a good place to have a pint or two before going home. The staff are friendly and helpful and they have a good selection of wines and beers. It is often difficult to get a seat but it does depend on the time that you visit. It has seating upstairs if you wish something quieter, or you can stand outside when the weather is acceptable.
