Great pub with a historic feel. Bartenders were friendly and the vegetarian pie was excellent. We sat upstairs and had the room to ourselves on a Tuesday evening. Highly recommended!
Absolutely delightful proper old London pub. Hidden away in the centre of the city, well worth seeking out. Ales were superbly kept, served in glass tankards. Food was great value: pie and a pint offer well worthwhile. I'll be back!

Hidden gem is over used, but this pub really is. I used to go here when I first started work in the City in the late 80’s and it hasn’t changed a bit! Staff were excellent too and the place is full of history, seems unbelievable that it was originally a riverside pub! Worth a trip when you’re around
