The curry goat with rice and pea was excellent, full of flavour. The house rosé was adequate and the cakes (Red Velvet, Bakewell Tart) were lovely (although I'd wished I'd had a tea/coffee with them). Was a little on the empty side when we went (2pm Tuesday) but started to fill up a little bit after
Great experience, helpful and friendly staff. Absolutely delicious Caribbean food. Nut Allergy Review: very helpful staff who checked and confirmed when asked.
Help a good cause.... Great place for quick snack or sit down meal. I've been here a few times for breakfast and the pancakes and waffles are amazing! This restaurant has a great variety of Caribbean and other cuisines. The main selling point for this place would be the cause behind it. The owner
Such a lovely café with kind, friendly staff and an excellent ethos. The work they’re doing in the community is well worth supporting. Luckily, the food is also superb, so I’d come here regardless. It’s great to be able to indulge in a glorious buttermilk waffle in the knowledge that your money is g
Just tried the new sourdough bread that they now make on site. It was literally fresh out of the oven when we bought it as it was still nice and warm. The flavour is absolutely delicious with lots of depth to it. Best place in Crystal Palace for fresh bread!
I visited the cafe 11 Oct 2015, and was made to feel most welcome the moment I walked through the door. They have a wonderful range of home made cakes on offer. I finally decided on a slice of pecan and honey cake, which was so delicious. I might add the 'slice' was quite large by normal tea shop s
I'm a regular customer and it was love at first sight. One of the best homemade cakes in London, excellent oxtail/jerk/curry goat and other food combined with a good cause of the social enterprise and welcoming atmosphere.
This is our favourite breakfast place in Crystal Palace! The coffee is really good and it's so difficult to not be tempted from their wide selection of delicious cakes. The staff is super kind and friendly, and the place transmits a peaceful vibe.
This is such a cute cafe/restaurant. Relaxed vibes, great for a catch up with a friend or a quick bite to eat before the cinema. A social enterprise with the aim to use some of the funds to rehabilitate women who have been involved in domestic violence. It is now my new place to chill
Not the cheapest place to grab a bite in Crystal Palace for the fare on offer but it's for a good cause (charity for abused women), so worth it. Also offers something different than usual fry up breakfast in the triangle -- like vegan offer includes plantains, yam and ackee. Other Jamaican favourite
Fantastic cafe, lovely food, nice staff
