Had some friends visiting (like we always do) and we decided to get some ramen. Wifey suggested Bone Daddies and there we go! Space is and interesting combo: very traditional aesthetics, while pumping The Doors and rock music. The yuku tonkotsu ramen I had was good, not the best I had, but enjoyable. We stayed until almost closing time and, even though we did our best to not overstay our welcome, the waitress was a bit rude. It was a bit of a sour taste for what would had been a tasteful dinner. Were it not for the quality of the food, I would have given it 3 stars.

Came here with my friend Saturday night wanted to try Bone Daddies for a while now. Came in an was seated by the bar fairly quickly, there was a slight mix up with our table we were waiting for but was resolved. I ordered the tonkstu pork raman and the Korean style bbq wings .. the raman was ok I would try something different next time the wings are divine definitely recommend them. I didn't like the fact the starters came at the same time as the main so by the time I got to my ramen it wasn't hot. The drinks are ok could do with more cocktail options.

If you like ramen this is a nice place to go. Although it's a restaurant chain, the food is really good and the concept of the space is comfortable, funny and relaxed. They have a good range of different ramens for any kind of palate. The prices are good being around 15 pounds.

We stumbled across bone daddies on a rainy Sunday afternoon and I will definitely be back. In a newly renovated corner, bone daddies has a fresh new take on a traditional Japanese restaraunt. The service was prompt and consistent, but the most important factor - the ramen - delivered exactly what we hoped. Perfectly cooked eggs, fresh noodles and the option of pork or chicken bone broth with a wide variety of drinks to accompany your ramen of choice. The only limiting factor is the price which set us back a bit, forcing us to only return once in a while and making us wary of ordering sides. One of the best options for a meal in Shoreditch!

Bone Daddies has a fairly typical layout for a ramen restaurant and has a pretty diverse menu of different ramens. Interestingly, the menu includes some chicken-broth ramen options which offers a nice change for those wishing to avoid pork or to try something new. Most dishes are around the £12-15 mark, and we tried the traditional tonkotsu and a spicy miso ramens, and both were great. Flavours were rich and authentic and the eggs were well cooked. However, some standard sides such as nori and pickles cost an additional charge and green tea is overpriced at  £2.50. Overall, a nice venue for a ramen fan.

Small but cosy place with great ramen. The meat melts in your mouth. The starters were all very good too. If you're near Shoreditch it's worth a visit!

It's been a trying 2+ years since I last tasted the Bone Daddies broth. It was the most frequented food I had (other than my local curry house) before I left at the end of 2013, and in June 2016 I didn't make it in time to the soft launch of the Old Street branch to beat the queues and take advantage of the 50% special. But I found myself needing to go to Argos Old Street and that was the perfect opportunity.

O Ramen estava delicioso, provámos 3 diferentes e o spicy é de facto bastante picante!
A cerveja também é muita boa.
Já os bancos não são extremamente confortáveis.
No geral adorei a experiência, primeiro Ramen 😊

It is well established that the boozy bunch are fans of Bone Daddies, after all they were crowned the winners of Ramen Wars earlier this year! However when each branch carries a different menu it’s not enough to like the chain, you can also have a favourite branch. And old street is mine. Perhaps surprisingly I haven’t tried the ramen here, it always looks great but what keeps me coming back is the kushikatsu. The deep fried delicious morsels on a stick are just so good that I never get past the first half of the menu.

Walked in here on a rainy day with my husband. No queue at all. Was immediately seated and served by friendly staff. Their crispy duck aburamen was to die for! So delicious! Will definitely come back and try a soup ramen.

This was our second attempt to visit the new Bone Daddies on Old St.  We tried to attend the discounted soft launch during the week at lunch time but the size of the queue was just too daunting.  So we paid full price on the Saturday after the soft launch period at an odd time.  At 15:00 in the afternoon there was no problem getting a table immediately.

Be warned that all of the seating is on backless bar stools.  I am walking on crutches having just had knee surgery so perching on a high bar stool is not ideal at the moment.  The food was worth any discomfort though.

The condiments on the table were all great.  Nice garlicky chilli sauce and soy, raw garlic bulbs to press into your ramen broth, and sesame seeds where the  grinder really heightens the flavor.   Because we ordered a kushikatsu we were also brought a nice light ponzu sauce, kewpie mayo, another  garlicky chilli oil and a brown sauce.  All very good.

For starters, the two of us shared the Korean chicken wings and the Iberico & roast onion kushikatsu.  Wings had an incredibly thin crispy skin with succulent meat, so probably double fried.  The strong gochujang based sauce might not be to everybody's taste but I liked it.  Amazing texture.  Our kushikatsu was great too.  Loved the sweetness of the roast onion which contrasted nicely with the pork.  Beautifully deep fried in a panko crust that didn't taste greasy.

For my main I ordered the Kani Tonkotsu.  I loved the deep fried soft shelled crab on top  as well as the other garnishes of kale, bean sprout and pork, but was disappointed that the 20 hour pork broth had been thickened with quite a lot of sesame paste.  I preferred the unadulterated meaty flavor of my compaion's T22, which was made with chicken broth.  Nonetheless, the ramen's were both delicious though next time I will be more careful to order a ramen that better highlights the flavor of the naked broth.

Bone Daddies has recently opened a new branch in Old Street. I went for dinner with my boyfriend as we are both huge fans of their ramen. We went during their soft opening where the food was 50% (this offer ends on the 30th of June, so you rather be quick!). This new addition in the Bone Daddies' family includes some exclusive new dishes such as the crispy duck aburamen and 7 differents kushikatsu.I was not very familiar with the kushikatsu, but I found out that it is a Japanese dish which consist of deep-fried skewered meat, seafood and vegetables. Nothing to do with a fatty fish & chips deep-fried batter...the kushiskatsu are made with egg, flour and panko.

The food at Bone Daddies was incredible, the Tokyo Ramen and tater tots were my favourite. It was a great atmosphere and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Our host Trinity was friendly and accommodating, thank you so much! I would highly recommend Bone Daddies, especially this branch. Perfect location!

Great food, lovely servers, amazing decor, unfortunately some loud customers disrupted the ambience, but that was at no fault of the servers. overall, would definitely recommend, food was very very good.

I was a bit wary of this Ramen place because it is a chain and so I thought the quality might not be as good as I hoped but it was great. I went for the Pork Pork Chili Ramen and they were delicious. Good deep and rich broth with some subtle savouriness. The various elements were exactly as delicious as I would expect, great seasoned pork mince and delicious pork belly. The noodles were tasty and well cooked without being gloopy and the egg, bean sprouts and spring onions all contributed well to a delicious bowl of Ramen. After the beer had kicked in, I decided to go for some Korean Chicken Wings. Lovely! Tangy and smoky and spicy. Well cooked and morish. I would definitely recommend.

It's decent Ramen for a chain. The service is great and exceptional. The noodles taste a bit lackluster and the veggie broth lacked depth... but such is the plight of 90% of the Ramen places that offer veggie options. Bottom line is: If you are around and want a quick Ramen spot, go here. If you want the best Ramen London has to offer, look elsewhere.

Third time visiting bone daddies now! Out of all the stores the old street branch is the best, staff are so funny and interact a lot, we were so surprised when we were recognised by one of the staff here. Came for the Cajun special, but definitely coming back for the vibes

Went two days in a row (once for lunch and once for dinner)! Excellent ramen, and side dishes are good too. Cool and hip atmosphere in a bar setting - serving Asahi on tap in keeping with the Japanese theme! Friendly service too (kids welcome) and good value for money - definitely recommended!

What a treat! Not sure why some people are not 100 % happy but I quess you can't please everyone. We had pork pork chilli and it was so delicious that I can't stop talking about it. Maybe I just didn't have enough ramen experience in my life but honestly It was soooo good. Also buns were yummy too. Service was lovely and great atmosphere. I will definitely come back when back in London :-).
