Another go to restaurant if you live around Bloomsbury! The caramel tarts are a must try apart from the peri peri chicken. The ambience is lovely although I have mostly had takeaways
The staff were very friendly and the chicken was grilled to perfection. The kids really enjoyed the apple cordial - which cones with the Kids meal.
Visited this Nandos restaurant with some friends and even though it was busy (kind of usual at all Nandos) the atmosphere was buzzing with customers enjoying the moment and of course the food.
We took a couple of platters and loads of chicken wings and olives, together with some drinks and ended up with some egg tarts - well done Nandos we know we'll never be disappointed.
I am a fan of Nandos. Actually no, I'll take that back. I respect Nandos. Let me tell you why...
Let's be honest, no chain can really claim supremacy in the cooking of any particular dish. By that I mean it is hard to find dishes which a chain restaurant always cooks better than an independent would. Nandos has got its recipe right in the sense that no one else does Peri Peri chicken as well as they do.
Whenever I go to Nandos, its half a chicken for me, medium spiced (extreme spice is only recommended to superheros), side of fries and depending on my mood corn on the cob or coleslaw. I truly recommend the chicken combo. Reason being, this is what the restaurant does best. Forget the slightly boring chicken burgers.
Beyond the food comes the rest. Here, Nando's still has some work to do. Firstly, the drinks it has on offer are scarce and the self service system rather annoying. Secondly, Nandos has a bad habit of leaving its clean tables, plates, toilets, etc.. DIRTY! I kid you not, Nandos hasn't yet found the solution to really keeping its restaurants outstandingly clean (which is should right?). Finally, Nandos does slightly at times make you feel like your in a chicken factory. I don't why this is exactly, its a hard feeling to describe. My general belief is that by dropping the pay at the cashier system and bringing in "normal" waiters, Nado's could substantially improve the dining experience.
However, don't let these last points get in your way. Especially if you have never been. One must go to Nando's once in his life.
Enjoy!
Ps: Nandos originated in South Africa and is one of the country's most known brands! As I said earlier: I respect Nando's.
The Nando's at Brunswick Centre is my favorite Nando's among the other Nando's in London. Apart from roasting the best chicken in town, the layout of this Nando's is well thought of. The seating area is completely cut off from the kitchen area which makes it a completely separate world. The world famous 'Peri-Peri' never fails to impress and makes me want to go there everyday for at least half a chicken. I also happened to try the Butterfly Chicken which was quite a treat. Every time I've been there the atmosphere has always been bright and lively and I never ever have I eaten a dull dinner at the Nando's at Brunswick Centre.
Nando’s never disappoints! It’s such an excellent choice for fresh and healthy options. The chicken is grilled to perfection with your choice of sauce.
The service at this location was superb. Very courteous and attentive staff that cleared off tables very quickly, with dishes stacked a mile high! The food, service, and atmosphere was fantastic.
Sunrise Burger was awesome. Love the sauce bar! All food was fresh and well-prepared...staff was courteous and helpful and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.
I had the chicken thigh sandwich. The sauce was good, but the chicken had no seasoning, which took away from what could have Ben a masterful taste collaboration. Definitely plan on going back because I have heard so many great things.
The service was outstanding, and the guy who helped me was very inviting and friendly.
It was the first time I'd been to Nandos, and the food wasn't good. On this occasion, I had some chicken wings, and omg, they were so salty. It was like they were corned. But conversely, the chips were great!
Best Nando’s in London! Rarely a let down. Chips fried perfectly and the chicken is grilled perfectly too, still nice and juicy unlike some places they make it too dry. Customer service is ok. Venue is nice and spacious and in a good location. This is always my go-to Nando’s whenever I’m craving for some.
The chicken was great, the food was tasty and it came quite fast. But it wasn’t worth the price. You can get better chicken and meat in other places for the same price. So while the place is definitely worthwhile, it’s not the best option for lunch or dinner. They would get 5 stars if the prices were ¼ lower.
The one problem that exists is minimal waiter interaction. You order food at the till, and it’s pretty loud there and communication isn’t the best. Then it’s just someone delivering food to your table without speaking. At such price premium service could be better, and better organised. You also have to go by yourself to get cutlery, waiters wouldn’t bring them to you if asked.
For a first time experience, it definitely could be better, but it’s not the worst. I wouldn’t organise a meeting here, as it’s a bit too loud and probably we would overpay.
For chicken itself it’s the best place in the Brunswick centre, so if you want a good chicken and don’t mind the price - I would recommend.
Although the chicken is very small for the price , the food was delicious. The staff were exceptional, especially the older blonde lady. Give her a raise! The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is due to the chicken size. Other than that, perfect!
Just been for lunch. Food came out really quick same as drinks. Our server Michelle was fantastic checking in on us. Super friendly and could see she was being fantastic to other guests as well. We were sat outside and she still managed to pay attention to us in a busy restaurant. Would definitely come again!
Went since it's such a staple. Honestly even a mild was too spicy for me, but I'm so week when it comes to spicy food. The meat was well cooked though and very tender. I had a side of spicy rice, which besides being spicy was very bland.
The food came out extremely quick. Probably about five minutes after ordering! Tasty chicken as always and the waiters were friendly. Price was £17.15 for four boneless chicken thighs and a unlimited drink.
Very kind staff. Gave me a fantastic recommendation
Simply, Nandos, the best chicken you will ever taste , great service and consistency,
If you are a Muslim, just confirm with the team if they have Halal chickens, as some branches may only serve normal chickens.
Took the medium butterfly chicken with spicy rice and mash potatoes. Even though the chicken was medoum it was a bit spicy and also the rice which i really loved. Will surely visit again soon.
Delicious !
Our meal was a very pleasant discovery, this being the first time at Nando's and certainly the last. Can't wait for us to come back to london. I want a Nandos in France now :P
The quality of the service does really change from one location to other. After a bad experience in another Nando’s, wanted to give it a second chance here. Totally worth it! The food is great, the the sauces amazing.
