We were recommended to visit Mother by a fellow visitor of Battersea Power visitor centre. We certainly did not regret it. Cozy interior with a good mix of modern and classic elements. The manager and his staff were, unlike a few previous reviews, fast, informative and friendly. Oders were taken within 4 mins, deliverance within 10 mins (for the food, the drinks came only a few minutes after ordering). The variety of pizza's, bruschetti and anti-pasti is large enough. My friend had a pizza prosciuto, I had a Burrata. Organic ingredients, made with an original recipe (for the dough, salt, water), and a exciting fresh taste. Different people, different taste for the thickness/crunch of pizza's.. these are Napolitan (relatively thin). The house white wine (Pecorino) is good. We had classic desserts.. tiramisu and panna cotta (orange zest flavored), which were also very satisfying. The location is a bit 'away' from the streetlife but even early on the day (17:45h) there were already 6 tables taken, and with the steady developing of Battersea real estate and the railway/Chelsea bridge above it, I foresee a succeful perspective.

Great brunch for £17.....pizza and selection of salads....eat as much as you want. Still not taking cards but luckily I had cash with me. All new restaurants have teething problems initially I guess. Will definitely be coming here again.

Everybody loves their Mum, and Mother Restaurant at Battersea is great too. It's designer decor is inviting and invites you to enjoy the atmosphere. We relaxed and enjoyed our meal. I had the 2 cheese pizza, and she the marinated pan fried lamb chops. Delicious. Good size portions and fair priced. The restaurant is set in the arches of a railway bridge, is dark but warm and inviting lighting. The aroma of the wood fire oven adds to the homely feel. The staff were friendly, our server, Kent explained some of the history of the restaurant and made us feel right at home.

Great all you can eat brunch for 17£ on Saturdays and Sundays. Also, they have an Italian style aperitivo on Thursdays for 10£. For an all you can eat brunch, the quality of food is outstanding. The place is a bit dark and could use more lighting. It's also a bit noisy. All in all it's definitely a great option for an informal brunch.

Could be the best pizza in London. Excellent craft beer on tap too. Very good service, nice atmosphere, everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Decent music playing not too loud. I had a little starter involving blue cheese that was just tremendous. A little more expensive than your usual pizza place but well worth it if you don't mind.

Warm and very cosy despite it being in an archway. Upon being seated and given menus, another customer who was departing the restaurant came over to our table and remarked that she'd waited "50 minutes" for her food, and that we'd enjoy it if we liked waiting. Well, our pizzas came out in less than 10 minutes and were very tasty indeed. (I guess she'd woken up on the wrong side of bed that morning.) Two pizzas, side olives, two glasses of wine and service (which was perfectly fine) was under £37. Would definitely visit again!

Pretty cool location, friendly staff. We went for the sunday brunch which was okay. Most of the food is cold and it's quickly gone. They add new stuff but one always needs a little luck to get some fresh pizza. They have live music though and it's a easy to find a space to sit even without a reservation. The toilets were horrific though - they need to be cleaned more frequently

Having visited many pizza places I can confirm this was one of the top 5. Food was great, service though was lagging behind. Also due to the way the tables are set (x-sections of tree stumps) albeit the nice feel to them, make it difficult to put a buggy close or get as many people sitting close to each other. Be aware this is a very lively place and prone to high levels of chatting noise. If going for a date, ask for a table as far back or as forward as possible.

Great venue, refitted arch under train bridge. Decent Sour Dough pizzas the usual over priced drinks. Definitely worth a visit if you are needing a snack on your Thames walk.

When we went there we were’t quite sure based on some google reviews, however Mother excelled in every aspect! Cosy and nice environment, great food and wine, most importantly is its service!!! My bf and I got into an intimate discussion there unexpectedly after the starter, and the staff gave us all the privacy in the world and didn’t interrupt us at all until we finished, then brought us the main🤪 Couldn’t thank them enough! Highly recommend it and will def come back again!

Lovely pizza restaurant in Battersea Power Station riverside. It's under the train rails in a cave with low lights and candels. Good for kids. They have good prices in wine and pizzas. The perfect combination. 2 house wines and a marinata(?) pizza. 18 pounds. Good service. Really focused on provide a good experience

Good food, good raw materials, nice place and location, well-finished interior design. Not so cheap, but that's fine.
