Thoroughly recommended!
Exactly what this area has been missing
A little hidden gem in BG
Tucked away under the railway arches is a fantastic pizza spot.
The ambience and decor is perfect for a date, low lighting and candles illuminating the tables in the evening.
Service was super quick and food was delicious! Keep an eye on the specials board as it changes!
Pizzas are around £12-17 and are decently sized.
I stumbled upon a charming little restaurant tucked away from the main street, situated beneath the overground train track, with unit number 266. In London, I hadn't come across such a unique pizza place until I found Sodo. Their menu is concise, the cosy dining room accommodates 50-60 guests, and the ambience caters to a diverse and vibrant crowd. You can witness the passionate chefs at work. I tried the Tomcat pizza, a culinary delight with impeccable dough, and their dessert left me in awe. The attentive staff made it a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it!
Calling all sustainability enthusiasts and foodies! Located across from Young V&A (The Museum of Childhood), down a cobblestone street and turn right onto the back of a little alley or behind Satan’s Whiskers (another local gem).
Amazing ambience and even better pizza. We’ve been totally charmed by the food, staff and prices. Well worth the visit and a new local eatery for us.
Pizza here was sooooo good. I got the wicker man which was a delicious mix of honey, pepperoni and nduja. The people working were really great, we were a big group and they made a big effort to accommodate us and make sure we had drinks while we waited. If you come from bethwall climbing centre then you get buy one get one free on pizzas but it's pretty reasonably priced anyway. Only negative is the soft drinks aren't great, but that's just because I don't like Karma cola
Incredibly tasty sourdough pizza five minutes walk from Bethnal Green tube station tucked down a quiet side street under the Overground arches.
Really quick service and everything is cooked fresh in front of you.
The Ginger Ale was amazing!
Located in a railway arch, they serve tasty sour dough pizzas.
The kitchen closes at 10 pm, but you can still order drinks & desserts after that.
Seems very popular with local students.
Reasonably priced at £12-15 each.
NB service charge automatically added.
Absolutely banging pizzas. Cool vibe, attentive staff, ingredients were superior quality. Thanks for the pre-race feed.
Loved this place. Stumbled opon it when just looking for any pizza place but this wasn’t just any pizza place. An amazing atmosphere and lovely pizza. The brownie was delicious however not as keen on the tiramisu. 2 really nice guys serving us during the night aswell. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent Pizza, really creative and tasty. Great service and good wine selection.
Loved everything about this place! It’s a hidden gem behind Satan’s Whiskers (which is an incredible cocktail bar you should also check out, btw). The pizza was delicious, service wonderful, and vibes on-point! AND they have natural wine — the skin contact I had was delish. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely lovely pizzas. Fresh ingredients, nice crust and interesting toppings. The place is small, feels intimate and cozy, and it's perfect for a small gathering of friends.
This was a gem of a find. Such a friendly place. We had a toddler with us and they were so child friendly. All of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was really delicious and very filling. Good value for money. Will definitely return 👍🏻
The interior of the place was lovely with plants everywhere giving it that relaxing vibe. The doors were open as it was a hot day allowing the breeze to come in. I really enjoyed my margherita pizza, which was nice and thin and delicious with the perfect amount of mozzarella. Customer service was efficient.
So, I have to say that this pizza was better than many I've eaten in Italy (!).
I ordered a Margherita, that I found reasonably priced and surprisingly good. Tap water is offered, and tiramisù was ok (they put chocolate chips inside, although in the original recipe there should be only cocoa power on the top). Service was great and staff were very reactive to needs and questions. The place itself was really nice inside, though outside at night it looks a bit sketchy. I would recommend it to an Italian person visiting London and looking for some comfort food, which should tell something about the quality of the food.
Keep it up!
Great pizza, the dough was just perfect. Really great service and beautiful atmosphere. It would be great if they had vegan cheese option and tap beer, other than that we loved dining there.
We came in on Saturday with no booking, they easily accommodate us with a warm welcome! Service was on point and super friendly. Pizza and drinks delish, will get back soon. Nice hidden gem spot in Bethnal Green! See you soon guys! 🍕
Walked past this place a few times in the past and finally went in for dinner and so glad we did. The pizza is possibly the best in the area (in my opinion). I was worried that being sourdough, the dough would be overly chewy (like Franco Manca) but it wasn't, it was perfect. Nice unique and tasty topping options too. Our party had the Wickerman, Blue Art and White Goat and they were all delicious. Can't recommend enough, look forward to trying the other toppings soon!
Delicious pizza, and really friendly and welcoming staff
Vibes are immaculate. Tried the special which had feta, mint, lemon, chilli and a few other ingredients - one of the most interesting pizzas ive ever had. But more than that, the place just feels so relaxing, great music not too loud, candlelight, chilled out.
