We had breakfast here recently and what an absolute treat it was! The broad menu literally had something for everyone (which suits those that are not fans of breakfast/brunch). We ordered the ‘Posh’ breakfast (swapping out the poached eggs for fried) and the Jacket Potato with Bolognese and Cheese (with a side salad) plus a Vanilla shake. All our meals were cooked to order, super tasty and huge in size - absolute value for money which is a nice change for a cafe these days! The staff were really nice and we loved the ‘homely’ vibe of this cafe. Would definitely recommend, just bring your appetite!

Absolutely amazing food, carefully and lovingly handmade. Incredible prices too! A real independent place with a heart! Just had a VERY generous rye triple decker sandwich with butter, chorizo, melted camembert and tomatoes, toasted to perfection... For £4.80! In London!

Absolutely scrummy-licious food and refreshments. Can't believe how cheap this café is for London. Ate here 3 days on the trot...

Best place in town for a burger by a country mile. Filthy is all I can say. Get down to the Madeira star for a triple cheeseburger and you’ll never look back.

I have been coming to this cafe for many many years now. Still the same owners from when I worked locally. Food is amazing and a good portion size although I prefer skinny fries the portion of chips is more than enough for one person

What a find. This place was recommended to us and I'm so glad. The food is amazing. We had a steak and onion Portuguese sandwich on a speciality toasted bread with garlic. Soooo tasty, we had to return next day for another. The prices are super reasonable, the staff friendly and the food worthy of high praise. FAB.

Quite easily the best panini place in all of London. If you ever have a choice between two, always go to this one. There is no comparison. The staff are lovely and the food is top tier. Also amazing value for money

Had the vegetarian breakfast which was really nice. The veggie sausages were actually made of vegetables rather than being fake meat which is always appreciated.

My family would have eaten here for breakfast every day. Simple, good food with a 6 quid full English and fresh squeezed OJ, coffee, choice of fries or hash browns. Awesome awesome awesome.

Great breakfast! Service was adequate for the place. Busy so don’t go at a popular time as you will battle to get served. I have had to leave without even ordering before as i went at lunch hour. Very popular with the local worker in the area.

Best lunch spot in Kennington! The portions are large and there's something for everyone on the menu. We usually get take away but there is also a dine-in area. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff (thanks for the panini Manuel!). It can be very popular at lunch time so there may be a short wait, but service is usually super quick.

The food was really great, low wait time, the waitress was great and worked the room really well for the amount of people there were. The amount of food on the menu might seem a little off putting (jack of all trades master of none style!) , but looking around the room everything seemed really nice, and our salad and stir fried beef was really tasty!

I had such a delicious panini, i swear my brain chemistry was altered the moment i bit into this scrumptious meal, the whole trajectory of my life has changed, i feel like the food critic that was in ratatouille when he ate ratatouille. However a rat ( thankfully) didn’t make it, instead lovely and fast staff who made the experience so much better! I highly recommend.
