A classic for any Wimbledon native, Wimbledon Tandoori is more than just another Indian restaurant. With servers that seem to remember familiar faces and service that continues even when the place is full - it's hard to find fault for this small but delicious restaurant!

As a vegetarian, whilst my Indian repotoire isn't exactly expansive, I have to say that their Chana Masala is one of the best. I would highly recommend a try!

I've been a regular visitor of Wimbledon Tandoori for the past 10 years, and so I know it's not a one off that I usually leave here satisfied and having been treated as part of the family!

Tip: If you're looking for a quieter dinner, ask if you can sit upstairs.

This is the best indian in Wimbledon Village!

They do get very busy so try and book, but if you don't they will try and get you in asap.

The food is very tasty and well priced, good value. The atmosphere is also good.

So if you fancy a spicy Friday curry night…. look no further!

This place always seems to be busy with locals from the Wimbledon village area, so recommend calling in advance to reserve.

I have not eaten in, but have had take away a number of times, always accommodating food is fresh, tasty and ready on time.

Lamb biriani is tasty and moist and the buttered chicken was a favourite.

Located just out of the village, no more that a 2 minute walk from the top of Wimbledon hill.

Had a birthday dinner out on a Monday here. Nicely laid out seating with no cramped feel to it. Waiters were attentive and we enjoyed Sag aloo and Chicken ticca madras , well cooked with creamy sauce. Nice portion sizes but nearly too much for me ! House wines were suitable ( but Champagne on offer ) but Indian beers available too. Think there is an upstairs for private or large parties. Pricing was good for what you get in The Village Well recommended for a quiet Indian / Bangladeshi dinner or a party booking .

Great naan, tasty curries and friendly service. The venue caters for large parties which is always a win. My go to is the the lamb tikka which is very tender and well spiced.

Up market restaurant, with prices from moderate to expensive offering a wide range of dishes. My second time here but first with new owners, Still has its private back tables for birthdays or if you want a bit more privately. Loved the king prawn kalma. Only negative comment was the ice cream Sunday could have been a little less solid. All said and done I liked the place

Really good food. The mushroom rice, lamb bhuna, tarka daal, onion bhaji and vegetable curry are all nice! I usually order via Just Eat but it’s cheaper to order direct (probably better for restaurants as well). I’m not usually a fan of Indian takeaways but I’d really recommend here!

I would love to give this place 5 stars as the overall food quality is very good, and the service when eating in is also very good. Unfortunately, they lose a star for the naan’s. The peshwari naan is completely flavourless and dry. It doesn’t taste of coconut, sultanas or almonds and is normally what I look forward to the most so is always a disappointment. Most other curry houses will include complimentary popadoms too with takeaways, but this place doesn’t!

We have eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed the food and the experience. The food is always tasty though not drained of fat before being served. They have a good selection of vegetable dishes. Everything on the menu looks pricey compared to local Indians in less posh areas but we find that the final bill isn't usually much higher. It is usually busy with a good atmosphere, nice decor and pleasant waiters. As with any similar restaurant the service will be slow when the place is packed. Some on-street parking outside.

We have just had the best Indian meal in years. The King prawn tikka was out of this world with lovely fat tasty prawns. it was so good I nearly took a photo and wish I had now to post on here. Thoroughly recommend to cheer up lockdown! Thank you! Miranda
