A great addition to the neighbourhood. Lovely (and often very well presented) sashimi and sushi, as well as some traditional hot dishes.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here! Even though the place has multiple tables, I found it reasonably quiet. The food was delicious, fresh fish in sushi and sashimi, the variety of options is good (the menu is not overwhelmingly long). I appreciated chef’s specials on the menu. Moreover, the prices are reasonable, overall a solid 5, would definitely come again.

You can never go wrong with Pham, the whole experience is amazing, from the staff, to the food. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable and has a welcoming feel to it. Whatever you order on the menu, you will never be disappointed. The food is fabulous and freshly cooked. Some of my favourite dishes are the deep fried squid tentacles and the chicken gyoza’s, you can see them in the pictures I have provided. It is a must go to place to eat if you live in London or not. 5 star from me!

Food was generally excellent, some great classics and slightly more modern items too. Desserts were a bit hit and miss. Also surprisingly on the pricier side even for sushi.

Been here multiple times. The sushi is not thé best but simply good (endlessly better than Itsu) and ebi tempura super crispy, made to order. Service seemed somewhat uninterested, just going through the motions. But quick and not bad in any way. Will be back here again.

When they were on whitecross street and ran a much smaller restaurant the sushi was fantastic. This location is not so consistent, though the fish is always fresh. For instance I brought a guest who ordered ice cream - it was served icy, as though it had melted a bit and been refrozen.

Friendly staff, cosy place and reasonable pricing. I tried Salmon set, Rainbow roll and Dumplings. Salmon is very good, while dumplings were lukewarm and rainbow is average. One of the few Japanese places open on weekends.

Really nice place, the staff are super sweet and the food is delicious. We were a group of 6 so ordered quite a few things. The spicy salmon with truffles sushi was so good, they also know how to present the dishes to wow you. Especially the mochi, which I don't usually like, but this was really, really good! Definite visit!

Great menu with good lunch specials. The chirashi was delicious. It was super busy when we went, but service was still fast and the staff were lovely.

Totally delicious. Highly recommend the spicy tuna roll and the Wakame seaweed salad. Travels well as a take out. You won’t regret.

Still the best Japanese restaurant in EC1. No contest. Always fresh ingredients and fantastic presentation. Dine in, take away or delivery. Alaska roll. Unagi Don. Dragon roll. All favorites. Have been a loyal customer for 10+ years

The quality of the sushi was very good and a reasonable price, the service was very attentive as well. We also tried to unagi don which was also quite good. Given the location, it's surprisingly not too expensive, would recommend this place, especially if you are watching a show at the Barbican centre, it's just a fews mins walk away.

Beautiful vegan sushi. The vegan sashimi looks very 'real' - we had to check with the waiter to ensure I got the right plate! Overall pleasant atmosphere and good service, and not too crowded on a Saturday night.

The first night we attended, the restaurant was excellent; this was down to Vincent's unique hospitality. The food is excellent. Service was marked down to four stars due to staff hurrying us out the door on Friday. Excellent food and awesome saki.

Excellent sushi place that never disappoints. Pham sushi at the heron has an excellent choice of sushi rolls and nigiri. The Toro tuna, crunchy tuna and dragon roles are excellent. The fish is very fresh and the service is very good. They also serve a very nice black cod. Strongly recommend.
