A great cafe with great staff and top food, I took my brother there yesterday in a wheel chair from whipps cross hospital and they couldn't have been more helpfully, I've been eating there for years
Great place to have breakfast if you like a fry up. I pass4 cafes to get to this one as its a good cafe with great food. I like it!
Went last tuesday for breakfast, been here before but i must say since the last visit its changed a lot, had a lovely omlette with chips, staff were very friendly and place seemed very clean, will return.
Nice Girl :) and good food
excellent food and excellent staff very friendly and yummy, be going back again
A proper old school greasy spoon cafe and I mean that in the nicest way possible. No frills just good old fashioned cafe food.
I came here yesterday as I had to come nearby to get my breaks changed on my work van. I thought I’d have a sit down with a breakfast while I wait for my van. I was recommended this place by a colleague of mine that lives nearby, after phoning him.
The place was very welcoming! I was greeted by the gentleman at the tills as soon as I walked in… before even knowing where the menu was! There was plenty seats for a sit down, and also has an outdoor seating which is perfect for the hot and sunny days!
The food came out quick, and it was amazing too. I ordered the Halal breakfast (not many places do that on their menu). I was able to tell that some of the customers there where regulars or locals, as they seemed to know one another. I was a strange face to them, but they instantly made me feel at home by engaging me into their conversations too. What a lovely vibe it was!
Historic and quirky greasy spoon with delicious breakfasts and friendly staff. The coffee is decent and the breakfast were hot, cooked well, seasoned well. So many options to choose from including healthy options and plenty of outdoor seating.
I had delicious pancakes, that came with plenty of fruit and maple syrup. I loved that they weren’t stacked on each other which usually makes them dry. Coffee was the best I had in a while, very creamy. If I am ever in that area again I am definitely coming back 😊
Very friendly staff with great service. Cafe was really clean, both inside & the outside seating area, as were the toilets.
Fast service, tasty food (proper East London food) with vegan and veggie options. Cute outside space. Friendly prices
Went for a work lunch with my colleagues and i cant fault them when it comes down to the food. There is a lot of variety of things on the menu. Something for everyone no matter what type of diet you have. They have an outside bit where you can sit also which is cute. Dog friendly place (seating outside only) Inside is a bit small and can be cramped if there is a lot of you but overall i good place to grab breaky and lunch. The only downfall for me is the cost of everything. But if your looking to treat yourself and want great food. I would definitely recommend this place here! THEY SERVE HALAL FOOD HERE ALSO!!!
Great food, great service, decent prices. Oh, and coffee is excellent!
A famous cafe been here for years apparently my first time here and found it to be very nice great staff with good food
Delicious breakfast options all day. They have a comfortable terrace or you can choose to eat inside
Really great Mediterranean breakfast, best I've had outside Turkey. Other breakfasts were brilliant too. And friendly, quick service.
Breakfast here is great - tasty and good value. staff are friendly and helpful.
Nice fresh food 😋 good coffee ☕️
Great value for money, traditional English breakfast with 7 sets, including 2 vegetarian options plus Builders Breakfast. Friendly service.
What a super little Cafe.
Everything you'd expect and more.
Great outside (and shaded) eating area. It was 28°C today and lovely to sit outside.
Helpful, friendly staff.
Very clean loos.
Great Lunch 👍
Delicious food at good prices. The first pic is a jacket potato with cheese (served single) and in the second one is mushroom omelette menu. I order from here frequently.
Magnificent - after a poor start, for which I was prepared to deduct a ⭐ from my review. My initial cup of tea was a huge disappointment, being prepared by dashing hot (but not boiling) water into a mug containing a teabag and dash of milk. As any true tea lover knows, this is a recipe for a disgusting slop of lukewarm brown water, but I have to take some portion of the blame - I should have specified I wanted it with lemon. Heigh ho.
I soon restored the ⭐ because my full English breakfast was excellent, and the crowning glory was the presentation of my tinned tomatoes in a separate cup. This allowed me to hold them in reserve until I had made room on my plate, and their juice didn't waste itself on drowning the other ingredients. Instead, I was able to indulge myself in one of my favourite taste/texture combinations, by pouring them on to crisply fried bread - another benefit of their presentation.
All in all, an almost perfect start to the week
Had lunch for the first time on Saturday and was back the next morning for breakfast! Great food and lovely staff
