Tasty. Has crunchy, soft, spicy, acidity and that flavour of fried egg in every bite. Can take a. it long to make and they only take card. But its good to get for a bite and fun to eat while walking around the area. Would very much recommend.
Worth the 30 minute tube ride at lunch. Got there by 12 with the ship opening at 12:10 pm. Was pleasantly surprised that they accept credit card payments. Ingredients looked fresh and the place (inside the shop) looked clean and well maintained. The crepes were really good and tasted like those being sold by the street vendors in beijing. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back again.
Amazing little food stall! Authentic and incredibly delicious Jian Bing which is like a Chinese savoury pancake with eggs, crispy dough, vegetables and meat (add on). We have added the lamb which was very tender and tasty! There is no seating so you will have to stand around and eat. Admittedly it can be hard to eat this with elegance and grace but it’s totally worth it!
Jian bing is a kind of crépes originated from north China. A super popular and representative street food and so it’s exciting to see an authentic replica in London! I had the original, which was filled with egg, some sauce, coriander (which I asked for it to be removed) and the signature crunchy big crisp. The original was vegetarian friendly. My friend also recommended the miso chicken filling!
The queue was CRAZY. Only because they only had one lady to make it. There were about 10 people in front of us and it took us >30 minutes from queue up till have it. Worth the wait though!
Delicious! They only serve these eggy crepes, but they taste good. They are all freshly made and it's good to watch the production process. The finished product is like a wrap, but without the heavy carb wrapper. They're super hot, and a bit messy to eat, but well worth it!
Tried the cumin lamb Jian Bing. I would say emphasis is on flavour at this joint. Quick service, although there is only space for one to be made at a time whilst you wait in a queue (which is a testament to the popularity of this establishment!).
Fantastic one-of-a-kind hole in the wall discovery. Originated in the north of China, this crêpe is a classic breakfast staple throughout the country. It's not cheap (our London version), however a culinary street food experience like no other. Especially travel is a little tricky right now. Current opening hours are 12 to 6pm.
Eye-catching hole in the wall with Chinese street food that packs a punch for a complete lunch - looks small but is deceptively large and filling! Pictured is the cumin lamb jian bing
Came across this place after pub drinks. What a find. It's super quick and the iberico pork is epic.
You get to see it made right in front of you with is pretty cool and the lady cooking was very efficient.
Super tasty, light and with many textures and different flavours. The one with cumin lambs was delicious!
