Great exhibition place! And a great opportunity for photographers from all over the world to come and see all the exhibitions they’ve got and the book shop as well. You get loads of film for your camera, the new Polaroid Originals as well. Books on photography. They even have a cozy place to drink a coffee or to have a lunch .
Whenever I have some free time and I'm in the area I visit The Photographers' Gallery. There's always something interesting going on in the gallery, or downstairs in the Prints area. The staff there are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It's a great place!
Love this place!! I wish a place like this existed in San Francisco or Oakland California. Great atmosphere for photographers.
Time well spent in soho: There are two small, fascinating exhibitions at the Photographers Gallery at the moment. One of images and memorabilia related to Gertrude stein and Virgil Thompson’s avant garde opera Four Saints in Three Acts, and another of photos from Wim Wenders’ private Polaroid collection. Free before Midday and almost free the rest of the time - worth a look!
Great exhibition space, great place to grab a coffee as well. Loved it!
Always worth a visit. Gregory Crewdson's Cathedral of the Pines was awesome, thought provoking and inspiring. This visit we found a dressing up box and a stage - what fun we had 🤣🤣🤣
Fabulous oasis of calm just off the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. Love coming here and have seen some great work. As the mother of a photography student, I have spent many a valuable few hours here. The cafe also serves gorgeosus food and coffee!
A real gem of a gallery. Great exhibitions and lovely shop.
Interesting exhibition Undercover.Cross dressing. Story of emotions, desire and style through last 2 centurie. Thank you for that!
A wonderful gallery. The current Win Wenders exhibition is superb. Quiet just behind the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. Great cafe too.
Excellent gallery -with a great shop full of interesting books and useful film etc
Really enjoy revisiting this photo gallery, always visual inspiring and thought provoking. A place to see different views of our world and the societies across it. Very interesting from a historical perspective too.
Fabulous new space and excellent exhibitions.
Yeah, it's okay! Nice little escape from Oxford Street's bustle on a weekend. Love the exhibitions above so it's often breather before heading into seeing what The Photographer's Gallery has up. Really very conveniently located and always a decent time (quick service/coffee/food, and of a good standard).
Highly recommended as a very friendly and quiet place. A wide choice of different teas and delicious cakes.
I love to sit and relax here after an exhibition.
WiFi hardly works tough, they are in a horrible blind spot.
Not a big range of food, mainly cakes and sandwiches.
Great coffee and wonderful atmosphere 👌
As always, a magnet for me. The bookshop is a winner and great range of film stock too. Good coffee. That's essential. Exhibits are always interesting, challenging at times but vital to have that alternative representation alongside the Tate etc.
If you're a photographer or videographer, coming here is a must to capture the true history of capturing images years and years ago.
Will definitely be coming back again.
Pretty decent cafe but PRICY even for London gallery standards
Small, but almost perfect cafe. Nice choice of snacks with variety of teas and coffees. Located inside a magnet location for everyone interested in photography.
Quiet cafe to escape from the hubbub of Oxford Street
Good cafe with ride range of teas, coffees, sandwiches and salads. An oasis of calm between the chaos of Oxford Circus and Carnaby street a good place to meet people before or after heading round the gallery or elsewhere.
Great customer service. Friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend
