Great pub, with a great selection of drinks and interesting menu. Especially liked the options for gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan - I have several intolerances, and the staff were extremely helpful in checking which options were 'safe' for me, going to check with the chef/kitchen staff several times. Will definitely be coming back!

Sneaked in for a pre-opening lunch at this fabulous pub with a backyard terrace overlooking the city from Crystal Palace. Lovely food prepared with excellence. Highly recommend.

It is apparent they have put a lot of effort into this place. The interior looks fantastic, stylish and cool. I have been a couple of times and the atmosphere is really good and the outside space is great. It has a great sunny location and really nicely finished. The beer selection could be a little better with just the generic lagers on offer and not enough real ale for my liking. But I am sure it will be a success and it is already one of our favourite pubs on the triangle!

Had a great dark and stormy cocktail on their opening night, and then my husband and I watched the wedding this morning/afternoon with some fantastic brunch. You’re off to a wonderful start; congratulations! Absolutely worth a try.

When out aimlessly on a Sunday and hunger hits, the only solution is a roast dinner, but this can be a gamble. The high ratings, amazing photos, seeing and smelling the dishes around us had us sold! I wouldn't usually have a starter but I was hungry and decided on a fried calamari which was not only big but also well fried with a nice golden crunchy exterior without any oily residue. This was a great show of the standard of food before the roasts arrived. I was by no means disappointed with the roast with the portion size being satisfactory and the sight & smell of the dinner captivating me. The beef and pork were so well cooked, however let it be known the potatoes were equally as good. The veg had the right amount of texture (al dente) and we're very flavourful, before being smothered with gravy that was used to fill up the Yorkshire pudding! 😋

Entered in the late afternoon on a Saturday. Showing both the rugby and football. Summer cosy seats and friendly bar staff. The staff were professional and the beers well kept. The pub became busier and has a garden I didn't quite have chance to explore although people seemed to be having a great time. Prices are reasonable and they were guesting two German beers for Oktoberfest. The wheat I would recommend. Lots of seats and nooks mostly occupied but bar hanging was favourable later on. Good crowd nice people and a good mixture of age groups. I haven't been here for a while but would return without question.

Charming bar in Crystal Palace, it has boardgames, live music and a great selection of cocktails and beer on tap. Gorgeous wooden decor and friendly staff on the door and at the bar. Not yet tried the food here but I recommend the new Brixtopolitan cocktail! The violinist playing last night was good. Would love to hear more new and original music from local bands. Also got to watch Sunderland win 3-0, rare to see my team playing on tv 🤣

After moving near this area we were keen to find a good pub quiz, happy to say the Faber Fox quiz on Sundays is great! Also a good selection of food, spacious and decent beers on tap. A very welcoming, local vibe to the place despite its size.

Lovely pub with a nice view in the back yard. Staff is friendly and helpful. We only tried some of the bar snacks like chips and olives which were decent.

This is our favourite local haunts. When you sit on the terrace in the back, there are beautiful views of Canary Wharf you get your standard pub fare here there are three TVs for sports. I kind of wish that one of the TVs was dedicated to something else. there are lovely, comfy couches at the front near the entrance, but most people seem to like sitting nearer to the Terrace doors.

Excellent spot. It has lovely garden seating and is welcoming to dogs, although I only saw one. Convenient to Crystal Palace. Me and my wife had the mixed roast for two. Good selection of meat and vegetables and each tasted wonderful. Do watch the mustard as it's quite spicy! The pork belly was particularly well executed.

Working in the area and popped in for an evening meal and to chill. Staff were really friendly and attentive, Meg served me and looked after me really well. Food was tasty, I had the double chicken fillet burger and fries. It was really tasty. Other staff were really attentive too. Nice pub, good ambience and clean. Will/would come again

Wonderful, attentive staff. After a small delay to our order following an issue with the app, the staff were so incredibly apologetic and made it up to us several times over. Nothing was too much trouble and it was some of the friendliest, most accommodating, and genuine service we've ever received. Thank you to each of you for being so kind. We will be back. PS. If the landlord reads this, please give all the wait staff a big raise!

We ate in the outside area. There are a few tables It was fairly busy. There was quite a bit on both menu food and drinks. The food was fresh well presented and tastes good, The inside quite spacious. The place was clean and tidy I happened to notice when a table is vacant and clean off the chairs are not wipe down or the salt and pepper not wipe. Toilet are clean. Dog friendly.

Lovely spacious place to chill, eat, drink. Food quite expensive, but manageable. Drinks on the expensive side, we got there just before happy hour, so we enjoyed 2 for 1 each!😁 Service lady was very attentive, friendly and down to earth.

This place is one of the best pubs in CP. Their staff are always really friendly and accommodating. The pub welcomes all patrons regardless of who they are (unlike the Alma which now won't accommodate parents with children). This means you see a mix of young people, families, groups of friends, individuals going for a quiet drink etc - it actually reflects the community and everyone looks like they are having fun. Tables are found quickly and both the service and plate clearing are quick also. There's a fantastic beer garden with some shaded tables for when we have the nicer weather to enjoy it. My only slight bug bear is that the garden can become a bit of a smokers den. Given the nice food and welcoming atmosphere, it would be great to have just a few designated non-smoking tables on one side so you can enjoy your food without it impacting you quite as much - Still welcoming the smokers but having appropriate areas for people with kids / asthma and those who want to enjoy the food without smoke.

Fantastic roast. Best we have had in ages. The staff are all lovely and were very helpful when we had a late guest. We will be back soon!

Busy pub that is a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Didn't have to wait long at the bar considering how busy the place was. Aspalls on tap which is a bonus. Staff friendly and you can book tables.

The good is very good, but over priced. It's expensive even by central London prices, and not big portions. For example, for £4 you get about 12 thick cut fries. The back deck is a lovely place to enjoy the view over a cold pint. The service was a little lacking, to the point where I got fed up with waiting for some attention to ask for the bill, so just went to the bar to pay.

Nice spot for a drink. Good inside space and a nice spot out back as well. Visited on a day when football was on. It was shown on screens, but only in the main area, but most tables were booked. Given how busy it was, it would've been nice if the front area which was fairly empty also showed the game, just as having not booked, resulted in us going elsewhere. No issue with the bar itself, just difficult when it was busy.

There are plenty of places to eat around the Crystal Palace Triangle but I'm glad that I went to The Faber Fox. The food is a little expensive, but the portions are really generous! The best thing about the meal was the thick-cut chips. They are probably the best chips I've had in a long time so I really recommend them! Also, the staff are extremely friendly and conversational. There is a good atmosphere in the restaurant and I will definitely visit again to try the Sunday Roast.
