Lovely pub. Good choice of pints for a normal price. Food is excellent, beyond what I expected. Staff is very friendly.

Having not been to The Windmill for several years it was lovely to go back for a Sunday lunch. All staff were great and the roast beef was excellent. Nice to have a sensibly sized and tasty Yorkshire pudding rather than a crazy oversized one precariously balanced on top of everything like you seem to get in some places! Desserts (Brownie and Sticky Toffee Pudding) both with ice cream were good and well priced. Decent selection of lagers too.Very much enjoyed.

Nice and classic pub. Drinks are cold and tasty. Staff is very friendly and offered us to take a photo of our group (+ they added a selfie of them on top 😋)

I hadn't been in The Windmill since it's refurb during the first wave of the pandemic, despite working round the corner we rarely went in. The pints weren't great, and it needed some TLC. I couldn't believe the transformation - the bar being moved to open out the entire place while keeping the cosy atmosphere is a dream achievement. Fuller's beers and main offenders on tap, but an Wilde Child Brewing imperial stout on draft had me questioning if Dry Jan was worth it. Someone is being punchy with the beer choices, and a few rogue guest taps should intrigue the casual boozer. Food wise, I was also doing Veggie Jan, but the kilo of Chicken Wings for £18 also had me questioning life choices. It was quiet for a Sunday afternoon, but staff were friendly and welcoming. The few that were in there were having a good time. Lucky Saint flew down in what I'd now recall as the best pint of it I had all month - they'd done a number with the branding too, everything felt special. This is how you do Dry January, not drinking and the pub don't have to be mutually exclusive, and I really truly hope some pubs take it further.

Great atmosphere and staff. Good place for an afternoon drink with plenty of seating outside if the weather's good! Food is good pub grub, and convenient location too. Highly recommended

The antithesis of the weatherspoons that made up most of my holiday. Great beer, great staff, great atmosphere

A lovely, local on the cut. Close to Waterloo station. A very welcoming atmosphere and a good pint served cold. Sport on the television and a picture of "Mike" aka Ben Kingsley on the wall!, Certainly worth a visit and enjoy. A simple but encompassing menu on offer. Eat, drink and enjoy!

Great bar with nice selection of hand pumped ales and the usual suspects on tap (Guinness, Asahi). Lovely interior with plenty of space to sit or stand. Good selection of food too from snacks to mains. Pie of the Day W/mash, gravy & veg £13.

Fairly bog standard London pub. Nothing notably bad or good. Had some interesting guest beers and ciders. Was pretty quiet on a Saturday, with no commuters and most of the party people at Bar Elba round the corner.

Loved this place, especially after the renovation. The new decor is amazing and goes very well with the theatre themed ceiling. Everything about the place - vibe, ambience, service and food is very great!!!
