Been eating at Mrs Wongs for 15 years, consistently good food and value for money. Yum yum, crispy duck although always need to order extra pancakes. If you visit to eat in, you may be put off by the basic decor and close proximity to your co-eaters but don't be, the foods good and it's bring your own so good value. Friendly service.

Lovely Place. We've been there thrice in the last 2 weeks with family and friends. The atmosphere is warm and cosy and the staff are really friendly ( probably the first chinese restaurant ive been to with friendly staff). The food is to the mark and my favourite is the squid in salt and chilly...simply delicious. Will be there soon again. :)

It's the first time I've been to Mrs Wong's but it certainly won't be the last. It's not licensed so you can bring your own drink if you want or have a soft drink or Chinese tea which is what I had. The atmosphere is homely, and relaxing and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The star though is the food, it's really delicious and well cooked. We had battered squid to start with and it's the best squid I've eaten, the batter was light and crispy and the squid was tender and just melted in the mouth. The duck was also tasty and well cooked. For mains we had ribs, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, and beef chow mein. All these dishes were cooked to perfection - it's obvious that the chef is gifted. The price was reasonable, less than you'd pay in some other restaurants. Also when we left the door to the kitchen was open and we could see in - it was spotless. What more could you ask for?

We had takeaway but we'll sit in next time - cosy, clean and charming. Great staff- lovely polite gentleman there who took our order smoothly and was informative. The food was banging. Absolutely lovely Chinese, will come again.

We used to eat here before the lockdowns. Since then I’ve been using Mrs Wong via Uber Eats. The food is delivered hot and on time and the quality is excellent, the menu is varied for all tastes. Overall I am very pleased

Well, last night had a takeaway for dinner from this restaurant & the dude that was in service at the time polite, warm & welcoming; the meal I ordered was very nice, Their chicken chow mein & chicken fried rice with a side of sweet & sour sauce was so good, never tasted anything quite as good, price of the meal wasn't bad, they run a fast & considerate eatery. Will definitely be around for Mrs Wong's for years to come. Great spot where it is BTW😊

Five stars because of the price. Food is reasonable (great salt and pepper ribs, hot and sour soup), but if you collect rather than have delivery, you get a massive 30% off your bill, making it the cheapest takeaway around and for that, the quality is pretty good. Service is always friendly and efficient too.

Good Chinese takeaway in the Streatham area. Normally order online but decided to pop in to takeaway. They only take cash but the menu selection is good and portion sizes are on the larger size. Only downside is the amount of prawns they use in king prawn dishes, 5 is a low amount considering most dishes cost a fiver plus. A pound per prawn is a bit outrageous!

Am a seasoned chinese eater, absolutely loved this restaurant it has great quality food. BYOB, 4 of us paid £7.30 each for 3x egg fried rice and 4 dishes to share between us. Very friendly staff, would recommend booking, have been twice and its always busy!

Went to Mrs Wongs for the first time yesterday. Food excellent and lots of it too. They let us take our leftovers home. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back and/or ordering takeaway.

Yummy! Singapore fried noodles. Service is great. We have hired upstairs for private parties and have never been disappointed. Great food and service. Bring your own bottle too.

Excellent Chinese food. It's had a change of ownership recently and although the food is not the 6 star of 5 it used to be, still well worth a visit. Much better than most of the Chinese restaurants I've been to in the past. Including Chinatown

Growing up eating at Mrs Wongs means I can't eat chinese food from anywhere else; it just doesn't compare. 30 years on I am still coming back to get this food - it stays the same and that is so incredible - it is so good it doesn't need to change! Decor has stayed the same too, which some people see as a negative because it seems quite dated- this isnt a place to be snobby! The food hands down beats loads of places!

Best Chinese food in London, in addition to being super cheap with fantastic service. And BYOB policy! My boyfriend and I have been at least 10 times in the past year.

Mrs Wong's has a long-standing reputation for serving good food and it's one of our main destinations for a Chinese. The absence of a bar also means you can drink your own wine without the usual hefty restaurant mark-up!
