Welcome to the brand new Roba Bar & Restaurant in Paddington where a young executive chef – Andrea Secchi (ex-Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley) – a focus on in-house aging of beef and smoking of salmon, and a menu designed largely around a robata grill add up to a hearty dining experience.
A very nice and elegant bar/restaurant. Serves as the main restaurant for the hotel.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Food was great. My favorite dish was the Salmon Tartar.
Highly recommend. Will definitely visit soon.
Got 4 stars only because it is a bit over priced, and I guess the reason being is that it is in a hotel.
We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday with a party of 15 people in the evening. We had an afternoon tea with champagne. The sandwich and cake selection was amazing. The hot scones, clotted cream and jam was to dye for. Staff and service was excellent. Beautiful venue. We will definitely go there again. We won't go by our car as parking big problem.
We had a late lunch on Saturday afternoon and were the only diners.Claudia,our waitress,was nicely attentive and helpful.My wife and I both had the fishcake for main course and a selection of ice cream for dessert.All was delicious.
Claudia went the extra mile when she made running repairs to my wife's shoe at the end of the meal! We will definitely return on our next trip to London
Afternoon tea experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. Sandwiches and cakes were lovely with a good selection. Great price for bottomless teas and sandwiches. Good range of teas as well. Would go again.
For a little money we got a great experience. Running out of time to try an english afternoon tea, we phoned and got a positive answer to having our tea there at five o'clock. Lovely sandwiches, a lemon cake light and fluffy as a cloud, chocolate cake to die for, and a waitress giving us a wholehearted english welcome. I highly recommend it. Reasonably prices,too. 😊
