Went here for some late afternoon/early evening cocktails on a sunny May Saturday after the Dulwich festival. Beautiful setting, grand inside. We sat outside in the back seating area which overlooks the park. Perfect for a cocktail. There's outside seating and parking at the front too. The rum cobbler was the winning cocktail - rum, raspberry liquor, port, lemon and vanilla over crushed ice and topped with five fruits - strawberries, raspberries, apple, blueberry and pineapple! Tasted a bit like an extra good sangria. The glass is carved crystal and tall - makes for a very refreshing drink on a hot day. Tried the Hemingway dacquiri too - okay, quite strong, not as nice. Some very unique looking cocktails too like the rose tinted glass which comes with a cognac foam. Definitely worth a visit on a Summer's day.

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. Great food, great service and very reasonably priced too. The roast dinner was one of the best as the Yorkshire puddings were enormous!! The sticky Toffee pudding was so light and very yummy 😍😍😋😋

We got married in Belair House this month and it was beautiful. The planning process felt so organised and relaxed for us – we really had minimal stress as BH put together our schedule and were always quick to answer our questions. On the day, John/OJ were stars, keeping us on track and being on top of everything. So many of our guests and our photographer complimented on how well the day ran due to them, which was a huge relief for us. The staff were lovely and welcoming. I didn't catch the name of one of the lovely girls who were there from the start to the end, accompanying us during the ceremony and handing me drinks to calm my nerves. You were amazing! Thank you to the Belair House team!

We had an amazing day at Belair House for our wedding in September. The team at BH are great to deal with and very responsive to emails and requests. The build up to our wedding was unconventional in a pandemic, but we felt reassured that they were on hand to guide us through the planning process. On the day itself Tasha, Paige & John were simply amazing, they honestly went above and beyond. The day went very smoothly and all the guests were happy all throughout the day. Thank you again all! Cant wait to come back to visit soon.

I had my prom in this place and I loved it, amazing food and amazing place. Although the service with the staff wasn’t what I had expected since they were half hearted with their job. Served 6 people with drinks and left all of us to get the drinks ourself the whole time. Few staff were actually abit rude as they just stood near our food and glared at us the whole way and not moving out of the way when we were serving ourselves. Now for food was 5⭐️ although it was alittle upsetting the food wasn’t enough but that cooking was still delicious! DJ was decent at the prom as well super friendly. Unique selling Point in this place would definitely be the atmosphere and the food but not so on the staff working there.

A lovely Georgian villa with surrounding park now in the middle of the city, not far from the historic Dulwich village. The house, now a restaurant and event venue, is a bit run down compared to its original intended Adam splendour, but still is in good shape overall. Even in a cloudy day, it is a perfect place for a bit of outdoor activity. The little lake with the ducks is a nice added bonus

I attended a reception after a friends funeral. The place was stunning, it was the right place to meet with other friends and share memories of our relationship about the friend who sadly passed. The staff were fantastic, what wonderful service. There are two areas for functions, one up stairs and the other on ground floor looking onto a park. With separate bars. It helped to turn a sad day into a postive experience. There is parking for about twenty cars, also on street parking.

Attended a wedding and can say it was a beautiful venue. Drink a bit pricy with 2 double gin and tonic costing £30. But worth it for the amazing memories.

I booked a table here after reading a post with someone recommending this restaurant. I emailed first to ask what the vegan options were, they have quite a few including a lovely dessert. I have always liked Belair House so was looking forward to trying the Indian restaurant. We ordered several meat and vegan dishes which were all very nice. We ordered way too much so the lovely waitress offered to pack some up for us to take away. We will return again :)

Beautiful grand house, amazing vegan options and fantastic service! Would warmly recommend! And they apply a 25% discounted during Christmas, so our bill ended up not pricey at all which is always a plus!

We used the upper ballroom to have our official ceremony at the end of May. It was a perfect venue. The setting and grounds of Belair House are just idylic so it's like getting married in a fairytale even when you are an older couple. We had a handfastening ceremony to celebrate the 25 years we had previously spent together. It also meant we could include the extra guests arriving in the evening. According to our guests, It was perfect, for many the best wedding they had ever attended. . The staff especially Gabriel and Paige couldn't do enough to help on the day. We can't recommend Belair House highly enough.

Brilliant service and amongst the tastiest indian food we’ve had in London! Really impressive and can’t wait to go ahead.

Firstly, this is a beautiful building, the food is superb and the staff are lovely. It's just that it feels a little unloved and the decor could do with some sprucing up. The lighting is too dim, giving a kind of depressing air. Don't let this put you off though - the food is really, really good.

Came here spontaneously and was welcomed by the staff to sip a lovely Bloody Mary in the front paddock whilst enjoying the beginning of a very English summer. Glorious. High quality cocktail and service in a lovely setting.

I visited the newly opened 1785 restaurant last night with some friends, family and my young children. We ordered a wide selection from their new north Indian menu. The food was mouth wateringly delicious. The service was fast! Considering there were quite a few of us and the restaurant was busy. The staff were very friendly and when we had questions about what they'd recommend from the menu, they were quick to suggest some great options. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The dessert was fantastic! Hands down the best sticky toffee pudding we've ever had. Very different with a touch of coconut and ginger in it and ice cream on top. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend for groups, date nights, catch up with friends and it's child friendly. I look forward to trying their Sunday menu! I'll be back very soon. A very special shout out to Claire who looked after our table. She was very friendly, professional and had lots of patience with the children. She contributed hugely to the 5 star experience, nothing was too much for her. Nothing better than great service with a smile :) Thank you Claire. All the best, Amanda
