Belair House & 1785 - London - Photo album

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. Great food, great service and very reasonably priced too. The roast dinner was one of the best as the Yorkshire puddings were enormous!! The sticky Toffee pudding was so light and very yummy ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹
We got married in Belair House this month and it was beautiful. The planning process felt so organised and relaxed for us โ€“ we really had minimal stress as BH put together our schedule and were always quick to answer our questions. On the day, John/OJ were stars, keeping us on track and being on to
We had an amazing day at Belair House for our wedding in September. The team at BH are great to deal with and very responsive to emails and requests. The build up to our wedding was unconventional in a pandemic, but we felt reassured that they were on hand to guide us through the planning process. O
I had my prom in this place and I loved it, amazing food and amazing place. Although the service with the staff wasnโ€™t what I had expected since they were half hearted with their job. Served 6 people with drinks and left all of us to get the drinks ourself the whole time. Few staff were actually abi
A lovely Georgian villa with surrounding park now in the middle of the city, not far from the historic Dulwich village. The house, now a restaurant and event venue, is a bit run down compared to its original intended Adam splendour, but still is in good shape overall. Even in a cloudy day, it is a p
I attended a reception after a friends funeral. The place was stunning, it was the right place to meet with other friends and share memories of our relationship about the friend who sadly passed. The staff were fantastic, what wonderful service. There are two areas for functions, one up stairs and
Blair House is very spacious good size rooms for every occasion. It quite a lovely venue on it own grounds.
Attended a wedding and can say it was a beautiful venue. Drink a bit pricy with 2 double gin and tonic costing ยฃ30. But worth it for the amazing memories.
I booked a table here after reading a post with someone recommending this restaurant. I emailed first to ask what the vegan options were, they have quite a few including a lovely dessert. I have always liked Belair House so was looking forward to trying the Indian restaurant. We ordered several mea
Beautiful grand house, amazing vegan options and fantastic service! Would warmly recommend! And they apply a 25% discounted during Christmas, so our bill ended up not pricey at all which is always a plus!
We used the upper ballroom to have our official ceremony at the end of May. It was a perfect venue. The setting and grounds of Belair House are just idylic so it's like getting married in a fairytale even when you are an older couple. We had a handfastening ceremony to celebrate the 25 years we had
Brilliant service and amongst the tastiest indian food weโ€™ve had in London! Really impressive and canโ€™t wait to go ahead.
Firstly, this is a beautiful building, the food is superb and the staff are lovely. It's just that it feels a little unloved and the decor could do with some sprucing up. The lighting is too dim, giving a kind of depressing air. Don't let this put you off though - the food is really, really good.
Came here spontaneously and was welcomed by the staff to sip a lovely Bloody Mary in the front paddock whilst enjoying the beginning of a very English summer. Glorious. High quality cocktail and service in a lovely setting.
Lovely venue. The staff were friendly. Nice venue for a special occasion like a birthday or wedding.
I visited the newly opened 1785 restaurant last night with some friends, family and my young children. We ordered a wide selection from their new north Indian menu. The food was mouth wateringly delicious. The service was fast! Considering there were quite a few of us and the restaurant was busy. T
