Small downstairs venue. Pub area is spacious with plenty of seats . Friendly quick staff with a good overall atmosphere. Venue is downstairs. Low ceilings so can sound very loud and can get quite hot. It's a great little place though. Drinks average prices.
Brilliant small venue. The pub upstairs had a great choice of beer and super friendly staff behind the bar. The burgers from the resident kitchen "slap & pickle" were excellent.
The best bit is the small concert space in the basement which had really good sound without being too loud and was small

Wonderful old school pub with music venue. Great live sound, very friendly staff and security. A pint and a gig with change out of 7 quid! Wow! 😮

I come here for the lucky chip burgers and they don't disappoint me. They are tasty, a good size I am full but not stuffed. The names are amusing for the burgers but it's the right mix of everything it can be a bit greasy. But I rather have a juicy burger than a dry one. When they say they open at 5
Ah super nice! Burgers are a bit smaller than other places but SUPER.GOOD! Ciders and beer are nice. Venue is wonderfully located in a narrow alley and there is plenty of space in the front for smoking and drinking outside. We went to se a concert in the basement and that also was top quality: SKY
Came for a gig in the basement venue - didn’t get a chance to sample the food offering but good prices on pints and the staff were all lovely!
Really only make the journey for the quiz !! It’s always such a great night. Sophia is hilarious, such a great quiz host and always has unique and fun questions!
Really fun pub, and the quizzes on Wednesday evening with Sophia are hilarious (and easy then difficult - so good for any level) me and my friends are regulars

This is a great pub! With its dark interior it has quite an atmosphere. There’s a good selection of beers and hard drinks. But what nudges it up from other pubs is the downstairs venue which has great live acts. A really good place to hang out with a great vibe.
