Great food, great drinks, and awesome staff always up for a chat or banter. The garden area is a sun trap, but has covered areas for those rainy days too. This has been and will continue to be our pub of choice for after work drinks any day of the week!

I came here because a friend of mine's parents were the landlords about 60 years ago, and she often talks about it ( we live in Hertfordshire). I facetimed her when we were there and she couldn't believe it - the wood panelling and floors are exactly the same and she tells stories of her mum polishing it all, and how she'd feed the policemen from the station opposite. Really nice, friendly pub!

Thoroughly enjoyed the beer garden at this pub. Great food offers available and very friendly staff. I thought it would have been a lot busier but it was just right! Highly recommend this place.

Key selling points: Darts and decent garden. At times it's a pretty poor pub, sometimes attracts a ~rugby crowd~, expensive lagers, straightforward Fullers beers. But at the same time it's a solid shout for the area, and an easy mid week football choice. The posh man's Ruse if you like (RIP THE RUSE)

Really cool place with amazing prices!! Got a Spicy Margarita for 8£ and was absolutely amazing!! The atmosphere is just great, their little garden is lovely and has heaters which you truly appreciate with this cold! We got some nibbles and they were really good as well, so strongly recommend those as well!

Good pub on Borough Road between Elephant and Castle and Borough. Two cask ales - and one cider - available on handpump when I visited. Very friendly staff. The pub reopened as a free house on 1 June after the previous owners Fuller's exited their lease at the beginning of January 2023. The pub has undergone a sympathetic internal refurbishment and the garden to the side has been transformed. The Ship is not serving meals at the moment but signs indicate that a Lebanese food offering will be available soon. Signs also indicate that there will be live music between 3:00 and 5:00 on Sunday 8 June.

This pub has recently come under new management and I must say , they've done a very good job. It was a great pub before though to be fair . They currently have a decent Lebanese menu there and always seem to play great music throughout the pub 'the doors' were playing when we entered, and various other rock etc) they also have live music in the beer garden. The crowd that frequents the pub are a very polite and varied and an alternative bunch which is brilliant, you'll find No trouble or drama at this place. The staff are some of the best if not THE best I've experienced I'm London. The bar was busy bit the staff are so good that you won't be standing long. 10 out of 10 for staff and ambience and ease.

The Ship in Southwark is a pub that truly stands out, thanks to its amazing pub garden. As someone who enjoys a good outdoor experience, I was thoroughly impressed by the charming and inviting garden space at The Ship. It's a perfect place to unwind, enjoy a drink, and soak up the atmosphere. The greenery, comfortable seating, and overall ambiance create a delightful oasis in the heart of Southwark. Whether you're looking for a sunny spot to enjoy a pint or a tranquil evening under the stars, The Ship's pub garden is the ideal setting. I highly recommend a visit to this pub for a memorable outdoor pub experience.

Lovely little Fuller's pub on Borough Road, which I'm sad to hear has permanently closed. Popped in one Friday afternoon for what was originally meant to be a quick one, and ended up staying for a few. Oliver's Island went down very well during the visit!

Stopped here to unwind after along day at the office. The service was friendly and very good, the staffs were polite friendly and accommodating. My drinks were delivered to the table and the cocktails were very nicely made. This place also offers outdoor seating with sheltered heated area where you can watch the sports while you socialise. The only let down is that some of the men who visit here is not a long as the think they're....lol

The venue is very well presented, with attractive entrances in both the front and back. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed and the staff are very friendly. The food is also top-quality, and the ice cream is certainly very unique in the best way.

Popped in for a relaxed dinner with friends on a Sunday. It was quite busy in the pub. There's also a largeish outside space available for when the weather is nice. They were sold out of a few dishes, but still had a tidy selection left. My friends enjoyed the mushroom lasagne and chicken burger, while I has the ham hock. Portions looked smaller than usual, but were actually plenty. Prices are decent as well. We really enjoyed our time here.

Really nice pub with friendly staff. Great seating area outside. A bit on the pricey side, but to be expected in that area.
