Loved the place, the food and the service. Had several starters, most of the bao, a few Dan bing and all the mains (yes, we ate a lot). We also had 2 desserts (the only ones available that day). The best dish for was by far the Taiwan beef noodle soup. The north was spectacular. Rich and flavoursome. The best dessert and a complete discovery for all.of us was the Popoah ice cream. Delicious ice cream with peanut.

One of the best Asian restaurants I've been to. From the starters/small plates all the way to desserts were amazing and flavorful. We were overly full and satisfied by the time we were done. Service was very very quick too. No wait in between courses really. I'll definitely visit again and would recommend the Taiwanese sausages, steamed buns and the vanilla custard pancake!!!!

Great place for a drink and a snack. Not really a festive dinner/lunch. The food is good, but a bit small and overpriced. For example the buns didn't have much inside besides the meat, maybe a piece of cabbage. For that price I have eaten more full buns. The taste is good tho and the staff is very kind. Their interior is just beautiful, the walls the bar and carpet on the floor. All just sits together. The cocktails are very good and they have a deal of 1 bun and beer for 6.50. It is a must try if you are looking for drink and nibble place. My tapioca cocktail was just over the top! I would certainly repeat.

Great experience, good service and great food. Tried a cross section of the menu and all had its own unique and good flavours. The Bao was the star of the show with the duck bao being potentially the best for me. An honorary mention to the ribs :)

Feeling so excited to have a new Taiwanese restaurant in London. The atmosphere is great and staff are cordial. Although beef noodles and egg cake are not Taiwanese enough (just personal opinion from a Taiwanese, beef noodle can be richer and less sweet, hoisin sauce is not necessary for the egg cake)all dishes I ordered are delicious. also their dessert pineapple bing cake is very good, impressed by the amount and taste! I am happy with the Taiwanese tea unfortunately Bubble tea is a disaster.... the tapioca is hard like a stone and so difficult to suck... would like to try their cocktail at next time

I loved every moment at Bao & Bing. The atmosphere is unique and staff very friendly! They offer tasty "street style" Taiwanese food, which is perfect for sharing (and trying different things!). Absolutely recommended! I can't wait to be back!

👍 The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters. I had the baked sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli accompanied by cabbage roll while my friend tried the prawn tempura bao and the chicken roll. They were delicious.A pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason I highly recommend it.

Great food and service in a really cool setting. The restaurant is dimly lit and decorated with typical Taiwanese artifacts (such as Taiwanese magazines, KMT propaganda posters, and even a traditional post box where you can leave feedback forms). The food is really good and authentic. The beef in the beef noodle was cooked incredibly. The service was quick and friendly. While the cocktails are cheap during happy hour, I wasn't a huge fan of the tapioca pearl cocktails (it was a bit too sour for my tastes, but others might enjoy it).

Great food and mazing atmosphere. Excellent little place in Marylebone, which is different to the offering in the area. The service was great and very attentive. My favourite was the Shrimp Bao and the Beef Noodle Soup. We were a party of 8 and its great to be able to try many dishes.

Great new little spot in Marylebone for Taiwanese snacks /drinks. The decor is really cool, very 1930s Shanghai style. The service is excellent, and the place feels laid back and casual. Love the little private room downstairs, looks really nice for a night out with friends.

A Taiwanese restaurant with cool interior. The Bao buns had a good amount of tasty filling. Everything that we tried was good quality and not drenched in sauce and seemed pretty fresh. The Bing cake tasted like a light and airy eclair and definitely needs to be shared. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A cute little charm in Paddington street.

Bao & Bing Taiwanese restaurant in Marylebone serves up delicious food inspired by the night markets of Taipei and Juifen. The design of the restaurant takes inspiration from Taiwanese Teahouses in the 50s and 60s and it oozes style and decadence. With sultry low lighting and gorgeous décor, this restaurant is a great date spot! We started off our feast with some Sweet and sour pork ribs: in sesame and spring onion (£3.80) and Steamed Edamame: tossed in chilli and sea salt(£3.50). The edamame was so fiery and we loved the edition of the chilli which gave the dish a great kick. The pork ribs fell off the bone and were succulent and flavoursome with the sticky sauce. Next up came all of the bao’s – literally! We tasted every bao on the menu and certainly did not regret it! So here they are… Pork belly: with chilli, cilantro, chiu chow mayo (£4.70) BBQ Chicken: with red chilli, spring onion, chilli garlic miso (£4.90) 5 Spiced beef: with cilantro, sweet peppers, wasabi mayo dressing (£5.20) Panko shrimp: with wok cabbage, red chilli, cilantro, spicy sesame sauce (£5.50 Crispy shredded duck: with cucumber, spring onion, hoisin sauce (£4.70) Shiitake mushroom fritter: with wok cabbage, red chilli, cilantro, chiu chow mayo, teriyaki (£4.50) Each bao was incredible and some of the best we have had in London. The buns were fluffy and small enough so you could eat enough of them. The pork belly was packed full of flavour and we loved the mayo accompaniment. We also rated the panko shrimp which had a spicy kick to compliment the perfect crispy shrimp. The Shiitake fritter was also delicious, both crispy and soft and so full of delicious flavour. Lastly, the five spiced beef had a great depth of flavour that complemented the sweet peppers so well. Finally, for dessert we tried the Wheelcake: a traditional Taiwanese street food comprising of two sweet pancake layers sandwiched around custard, chocolate or red bean filling (£3). We opted for custard and chocolate and oh my it was good – super indulgent, gooey and delicious. Bao & Bing is a fantastic restaurant in Marylebone with a relaxed atmosphere, amazing food and really great staff! Make sure you try all of the bao buns – you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely new addition to baker st, which is sorely missing good food options. I had the dan bing with pork, it was really tasty with a nice thin wrap but on the small side. The pork was a little dry so it ended up being a lot more chewy than expected and sorely missing a crunch. Perfection however comes in the form of the shiitake fritter bao. It was a prefect morsel of crispy fluffy salty sweet and spicy. The shiitake mushroom being a perfect canvas for all these flavours. Absolute must try. I would encourage them to dial back the salt a bit. I also had the vanilla and chocolate wheelcake which was honestly forgettable, the chocolate muted and the cake itself over cooked.

I loved the ambiance and food in Bao & Bing. It's in a great location, central but hidden away. I had about 3 lychee cocktails because they were a good size and very tasty! The food came in decent sized portions to share and a special I tried, the Big Mac Beef Bao was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be going again.

I must say the lady serving us was very helpful and friendly. We had some bao and the taiwanese noodle. The ambiance was really nice. The noodle was not what i expected but was ok. Would recommend for lunch/ after work drinks. Lunch meal offer changes daily.
