Stopped off for an impromptu weekday lunch here when in the area. We ordered from the value for money lunch menu - £6.50 for a starter and a main course. I had a wonderful pork belly dish with rice, with a hot and sour soup starter, which was fantastic. My friend had a spectacular 5 spice beef dish where the small pieces of beef were amazingly flavoured whilst retaining a delicious pinkness inside the meat, so masterful! I will be returning for sure!

Had a fantastic meal here with a Chinese student who told us about it. We would never have been aware of it otherwise! The dishes on the menu are so different from the usual offerings! Well worth a visit! Been once and going again!

Wonderful lunchtime family meal at a new Szechuan Restaurant in Southgate. The place is attractively decorated. The staff are very helpful in advising on choosing from an array of dishes on the menu. We had the set menu which was so varied and the portion sizes ample. We were served delicious Szechuan and other Chinese dishes all freshly prepared, nicely presented, and attentively served. Excellent wine list too. Top faire at very reasonable prices. What's more click on the website and you can learn to cook Szechaun style at home with a new recipe every month. Highly recommended.

Good Szechuan restaurant, clean and modern. I will rate the dishes we ordered starting with: 1. Boiled Beef & Chilli Sauce with Vegetable 水煮牛肉: this dish supposed to have a strong Szechuan pepper flavour but it didn't have that, beef pieces were quite chewy. 2. Home Special Tofu 家常豆腐 Good flavour. The tofu had absorbed the taste. Recommended. 3. Gongbao Chicken 宫保鸡 If you have eaten Gongbao Chicken in china then you will get disappointed with this dish. Not recommended 4. Farmhouse Stir Fried Pork with Green Pepper 小炒肉 Very tasty, recommended 5. Dry Fried Fine Bean with Minced Meat 四季豆 I must congratulate the chef for this dish. It was beautifully done. Very tasty, not very salty, beans were soft and tender. In my opinion, the food is good and reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly. I will be visiting again to try more dishes. Thank you

It really was a good restaurant! The waitress was nice and the food wonderful! Usually we are disappointed by the "spicy" food, but this time we weren't! I really recommend it! The price is cheap and the food awesome! Thank you! (From French people)

It is a travesty that I grew up in Southgate and only discovered this place in 2018. It is a bit more pricey, but it is real restaurant food, rather than a takeaway. Please go.
