Massively impressed by Siren
We have been fortunate enough to eat at Nathan Outlaw's two Cornish restaurants. The Fish Kitchen in Port Isaac is still my favourite restaurant.
Service was attentive and very helpful. Could not do more for us.
Room is light and airy. We went on a sunny summer day and the windows were open to the garden. Surprisingly peaceful for the centre of London (5 mins walk from Victoria).
Food was incredible. Oysters fresh. My scallops were big and melt in the mouth. Turbot is of course the king of fish. Strawberry tart light as a dessert.
Huge wine list to choose from. Our Albarino choices perfect with fish.
Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back 😎
A lovely meal in a beautiful setting. Gorgeous hotel. The restaurant specialises in fish from Cornwall. Would recommend the daily specials over the menu. Whole fish to share is the way to go. The large Dover sole for two was particularly impressive. Starters are not strictly necessary, but if you are a desert person, these are not to be missed! Thoroughly enjoyable.
Highly Recommended. Siren at The Goring Hotel is a great restaurant directed by super chef Nathan Outlaw. His menu is wonderful. Try the cured Gurnard starter: amazing flavours. We tried the Baked Turbot and Dover Sole and both were divine. The wine list is an excellent selection, we had the delicious Puilly Fume. The dining room is spacious, airy and elegant with soft lighting.
Super. Seafood focused. Beautiful room and decor. Service top notch. Menu had so many interesting dishes. All our choices were top notch. Modern cooking with classic quality ingredients. Highly recommended.
Attentively service and tasty food.
