Can't rate the food as we didn't try any, although it seemed to be more snacks or light bites such as toasted sandwiches. A really good range of cask and keg beers which I'm reliably informed by my husband we're really well kept. You really feel as though you've been transported back in time in a go
Great pub with great selection of beers at affordable prices. Gluten-free beer on cask is a real plus for those who need it, and quite a rarity. Really pleased to have discovered this place and will be back.
Outstanding pub with great beer selection.
A brilliant backstreet pub on the borders of Hoxton. Surprise, actually on Wenlock Street. Lovely people behind the bar, service smart and knowledgeable. Beer is good with a fine eclectic choice of ales both on cask and keg. A lovely place to visit!

❤️ The quintessential London Pub.

The Wenlock Arms is located in a quiet backstreet in Hoxton and is just a ten minute walk from Old Street station. A more picturesque journey would be to walk from Angel tube which means you can stroll along tranquil Regents Canal.

Just magnificent. Ale fan, go here. £5 a pint on cask. Brilliant, brilliant pub
We were visiting London on business and sought a good genuine ale house. Found a cracker. Staff and locals were very friendly and great atmosphere. Great selection of beer!
The Wenlock Arms is a gem! The charming pub ambiance, friendly staff, and impressive selection of beers make it a must-visit. Whether you're a local or a tourist, you'll love the authentic British pub experience it offers.
Wonderful traditional pub. Excellent choice of beers. Lovely staff. Wish I lived nearby.
The Wenlock Arms is a charming independent pub located on a quiet back street that is cosy and welcoming. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a lovely warm fireplace that adds to the ambience, making it a perfect spot for a drink on a cold evening. The pub has a lively vibe on Friday & Saturday nights
Great place that serves very nice beer. A wide selection of drinks and you can even sit there with your dog. Saw a man with one when I was there and it filled my heart. More places should be like this! Prices were awesome, hope you stay in business for a very long time!
Friendly service, great beer, great music, traditional decor, all round awesome pub!
Real ale-focused with intuitive service, albeit on a relatively quiet Wedesday evening. If I had to criticise, I would argue they don’t really have a ‘go-to’ beer - a beer you would want to drink seven pints of. But nonetheless the beers I tried were perfectly kept and well tasty.
A wet led pub for drinkers. I’d love to have this as my local. Nice and warm and a fire going. Decent selection of ales. £4.50 per pint for cask so almost west end prices.
Good range of real ales, mainly at £5 - very reasonable for the area.
One of London's great pubs. A pub so good I'm reluctant to leave a review because I don't want it to become busier, but it deserves more business even at the risk of a bigger queue at the bar. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good music. Come for the real ale and stay for the toasties.
Great neighborhood pub, great beer selection
One of the best pubs in London! Lovely atmosphere and staff
It's a good old pub. Unfussy, knowledgeable barman when I visited who knew the history of the pub going back. Unfortunately the world famous hot salt beef sandwich is no longer served, but we guessed times change. Draft craft, and keykegs offer a good choice of real ale. On the whole, nice cosy pub
