Baskervilles is a sanctuary for all and a god send for new mums with babies (I have spent a LOT of time here). It's really family friendly and but does cater for all as the back of the tea shop tends to be where the mums with babies hang out and the front of the teashop is a more relaxing haven with views over the park. They also have a further small function room right at the back which they hire out for tea parties, kids parties and baby and toddler groups. We booked the function room with afternoon tea for the adults for our daughters first birthday party and it was fantastic! Diane the owner was so helpful in understanding exactly what I wanted and prepping everything for the day. On the day Kat (not sure if a K or C) was so lovely and helpful and did everything she could to ensure we were all happy. The room was spotless which is perfect when babies are going to be crawling all over, it was set up perfectly, better than I had imagined and so pretty. The food was scrummy (special shout out for the veg tart and the scones!) and the drinks plentiful. Diane was more than happy for me to bring my own cake and other bits to add. The whole party was absolutely perfect, Grandparents, Mums and Babies absolutely loved Baskervilles! 100% recommend Baskervilles for either a function/party/afternoon tea or just popping in for brunch. It's just fab and the staff are lovely and welcoming. One happy Mummy x Visited November 2016

The afternoon tea party at Baskervilles tea shop was briliant!. absolutely delicious food and the most friendly helpful staff looking after us. We were super late and they were so understanding and accomodated our group nonetheless. Thanks again, it was a wonderful birthday treat and we hope to come back again soon !

The tea is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the manager really ensures her guests have an enjoyable time. Booking for special occasions is easy, but book early for things like Mother's Day! I recommend booking for one of their afternoon teas!

Incredible service and wonderful selection of teas. Staff were friendly and courteous, could not find any faults. The cake selection was very tasty and the quantity of food for the price of the afternoon tea was more than adequate. Would definitely come back again and recommend to everyone.

Welcoming, Friendly Staff, it is always a pleasure being at Baskerville's. I enjoy their Delicous Vegan Hummus with Rocket Salad and Side Salad. Highly Recommend their 'Vegan Choc Cup Cake' which is how best to get on Sundays. Do give them visit, you will not be disappointed. I love the 'Natural Favoured Herbal Teas' too.

Had a baby shower in their function room, perfect size for 12-14 people. Tea, sandwiches and scones were delicious and they were happy for us to being our own cake. The staff were attentive and we had plenty of tea refills. Had a lovely time and were not rushed out at all. Very quirky decor and ideal for high tea, birthdays and baby showers.

Unusual combinations for sandwiches/paninis but they were accommodating to add filling of my choice. Very friendly. Great tasting tea

Very friendly. Lovely selection of teas. Sandwiches were nice. Scones were delicious. My only gripe was I hadn't left enough room for the cakes (which were took away with us). We booked ahead and the manager was very relaxed (especially as we were late and had people coming and going). It's out of our way to get to, but really worth the effort. Would definitely go back.

This is a wonderful little tea shop in a great location overlooking Broomfield Park! I've been coming here for years to enjoy the wonderful selection of unique blended teas (my current favourites are Chocolate tea and Rosy Lee), homemade cakes and delicious sandwiches (they do a great bacon sandwich - yum!). They are equally welcoming whether we are there with my 3 year old son (they also have lots of kids events in the back room), working alone on the laptop, or meeting friends for a chat. This is a hidden gem i only tell good friends about (so it doesn't get too busy). Highly recommended (except saturday mornings when i like to go - please don't all go then! thanks).

Baskerville tea shop is one of the hidden gems of London. If you’re looking for a place that brings sophistication and elegance in a chilled atmosphere look no further than this place. The tea house is situated away from the hustle and bustle of London. By far the best place to get scones and they have a great selection from savoury to sweet. It is a haven for many mothers and toddlers some might consider this to be a drawback but I don’t see it that way. If people wish to have quiet time and avoid the mums and toddlers I would recommend going earlier in the day. Cannot fault the staff, very attentive to our needs and made our experience enjoyable. Overall a great experience and a place as I would recommend people to go to ad oppose to the chain coffee shops

Love this quaint cafe/tea room. Excellent variety of tea and hearty meals. They also have child friendly area where parents/carers sit with toddlers. The children are given colouring books and toys to use whilst in the cafe 😍

Friendly, welcoming and forgiving, we had 3 kids, the most comfortable o have felt in a restaurant. No one gave us a dirty look. But please do other diners a favour and sit at the back of the restaurant . The food was also tasty, well presented and arrived early from when the order was taken. I took away scones and cake also tasty. I will revisit minus my minion just so I can take a leisurely lunch/tea. Highly recommended. Just go.

Lovely tea shop. Family friendly and nice atmosphere. Staff are friendly and service is quick. Nice menu and a great place to have a quiet conversation amongst friends / family. There is seating outside. Definitely a place for coffee if visiting the area. I would appreciate a thumbs up if you found this review helpful. Thank you 😊

Adorable place, with the best cream tea I found in London so far. They bake their own scones and cakes and everything tastes fresh and home made. It’s located in a lovely area, right opposite Broomfield Park and the staff is efficient and polite. Whenever I have friends visiting London, I bring them here to impress them. It never fails.

Absolutely fabulous. Had my daughter's baby shower there in the party room. Beautiful tea, with fresh pots of tea coming all afternoon. Lovely sandwiches, hot cheesy scones, followed by scones, clotted cream and cakes. Well done Baskervilles!

Excellent pancakes! Great big space to let the kids roam around in, and it even has a dedicated play area down at the far end of the building. It's in a nice and bright location on the corner opposite Broomfield Park, making it very convenient to drop in after a good stroll or play. The fine selection of teas and cakes make this place a must.

They have amazing scones that come in different flavours every day. The teas are always a lovely special blend of loose leaf that comes in a cute teapot and I really love the environment. I would recommend this place highly
