The food is really amazing. Made me feel like home 😭The drinks are outstanding! They have really good, unique sake selections. The staff there are very friendly. Definitely will go soon again. Forgot to take pics of the food cause it was too 🤤
The food and Japanese sake are all amazing!!! This was my third time to visit Moto. We tried the summer cocktails. These are outstanding and unique. It definitely is a must go sake bar in London.
A small but wonderful sake bar💯
Cocktails were super nice and staff were all friendly and nice🫶🏻
Would love to try their food next time.
Highly recommend this place ☺️
Great small place with outdoor and indoor seating: cocktails and sake options. Friendly service and nice selection.
Unbelievable special and tasty cocktail! I like the look of the mountain cocktail 🗻 but the taste of autumn cocktail is ACE. It's actually my first time to have a green tea cocktail and it's perfectly smooth. They also have a selection of sake, but we didn't get to try this time.
They only offer limited seats and the tables are tiny. I tried to come a couple times in the evening and there was no table available. Recommend to come off-peak to enjoy it better and also have a chat with the mixologist!
An excellent sake!
Their sake selection is vast and varied covering all that you can ask for.
If you don’t know the drink you will definitely learn about all the vast details. The lady who served me was so enthusiastic about the drink and was so happy to explain everything to me.
I was told that the owner visits Japan regularly to source drink direct from the small distilleries. So you are going to find bottles that can’t be sourced anywhere else.
I didn’t try their cocktails or food but from looking at other tables they looked appealing.
The interior and decor is minimalistic and cool. Making it so easy to spend many an hour in there.
A new favourite of mine.
We have an enjoyable moment here.
Lovely Sake collectios, food & staff.
We met Peter this afternoon.
He is knowledgeable and can feel the passion from him.
Definitely a place should visit if you love Sake!!!
Can't wait for the next visit~
A hidden gem, where exceptional quality sake meets the artistry of Japanese cuisine!
The relaxed ambiance added to the charm, making it a perfect spot!!
I left with a newfound appreciation for sake! Highly recommended!!!
The ambience of this place is wonderful ✨️ The cocktails are wonderful and the staff are always considerate, I've been back so many times 🥰
The passion fruit cocktail (bird glass) is my favourite!
Good sake and food. Very nice service and friendly staff. Will come back again.
We were looking for a quick place to pop into and get some drinks before going on to the theatre and stumbled upon Moto. The bar is very cosy and while the available space was either taken or reserved the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Our order was fairly quick and simple. We just got some umeshu, hojicha and matcha but the menu had an incredible range of drinks and food. The staff were friendly and couldn't have done more for us. Everything you would expect of Japanese hospitality. We will absolutely be returning to enjoy more what Moto offers with their cocktails and food.
Cool lil’ spot in Covent Garden if you’re into sake and Japanese bites.
Were the only ones at 3pm which which was nice. Can imagine the place being quite cramped when full.
Good selection of various sake sorted by body. Unfortunately, cocktails are not available until 5pm (might make sense to state on the menu or separate it so it’s literally not the first thing that needs to be explained).
The salmon miso was nicely done. Enjoyed the various sake and glass of umeshu (60ml per pour).
Look forward to a future visit to explore the other drinks. Would be nice to try a Japanese craft beer with their fried chicken and snacks.
A cool looking and yet cozy and small Japanese Sake bar fitting only 5 tables with seating and 4 high chairs at the bar.
They are known for their unique selections of sakes which comes separately on their sake menu. They also have a cocktail and food too, If you're looking for something small to eat.
Price range I would say is a little expensive but most sake don't come cheap anyways so it is reasonable for their price range.
Recommended if you want some good quality sake and are willing to pay for more for it.
We popped into this absolutely lovely place yesterday before lunch and it was nothing short of purely delightful, we had a Sake flight and the gentleman who served us could not be more helpful. He ran through the Sake, The process and the type of grains used and it was pleasure actually being here and felt very looked after. Thank you, we will be visiting again!
Amazing cocktails and very good food. I only wish the food portions would be bigger.
Been looking forward to going to a bar that offered a wide variety of sake since I wanted to know more about the beverage. I was amazed to see the wide variety on offer and the fact that you can buy and bring the bottles home was an added bonus. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. The space was cosy and intimate. Will be back again to try the craft beers and cocktails.
Was walking past the other day and felt like entering. Small cosy joint that serves premium Japanese Sake. Not really a big drinker at all yet tried two flavours. Both 10/10. The manager Wilson was very informative and generous with his time. Staff were cool / friendly too. One member of staff said that their Sake is most likely top 10 standard in London. For me so far it’s the best I’ve had 😀
Edit:
Revisited again today and ordered food. Ordered a vegan Bento Box 🍱. Delicious 😋
