A chance meeting with the business partner at Ljubljana airport of this place and stop in this place for a few beers a few weeks later, well worth a visit, friendly bar staff and a great selection of beers with it's own micro brewery, a must place to visit for the ale connoisseurs out there

Great service, nice, friendly crowd. Love the beers which are different than every other pub in London, not to mention great tasting. Owners are hands on and friendly, very welcoming. Pub is clean, as well as toilets which is always a factor for me. Great pub overall!

Globetrotting chef, Adam Rawson, has set up temporary residence in the kitchen of Fitzrovia pub, The George & Dragon, and is cooking up his own tasty take on pub grub inspired by his travels. Capitalising on his Slider Decider wins, Adam’s menu focuses on a range of what he calls Global Burgers, with an assortment of standard fare snacks and sides.

Great place to hang out with friends and grab a pint, play some shuffle board/darts! I think I received probably the best bar service that I've ever had, I asked to sample some cider, but they also suggested other drinks and let me sample some more! In the end I went with the beer they suggested and now it's a favourite. Downstairs in the basement they have a darts board and a shuffle board table (although it could do with having the legs adjusted/floor leveled as it tilts to the right) all free of charge to play, you just have to leave a card as deposit. Fully recommend The George and Dragon, will be back!

Great selection of drinks available albeit no cask beer. Very traditional feel to this pub. Very nicely decorated and cosy without being gloomy. Staff do an amazing job. Very friendly and helpful. They circulate amongst the drinkers for a chat, are quick to ask if another round is required and quick to sanitise tables. I haven't tried the food but it looks delicious! Great atmosphere with a mix of locals and office workers.

A very cozy tavern located in the heart of Fitzrovia. The bar holds many antique artifacts and a wide selection of drinks. The staff are very welcoming and supportive with free samples of all the beers that they offer. They made the experience very pleasant. I would definitely return for a drink again.

The George and Dragon ❤️ This Fitzrovia pub offers a great selection of beers, ales, stouts & ciders. The pop up kitchen offers an array of hearty meats including roast beef, lamb & pork . The pub has a contemporary feel and the atmosphere was relaxed. Well worth a visit to try out the beers alone. 🚇 Great Portland Street 🍺 £5.00 Staropramen ℹ️ info correct on visiting 25/08/17

This is a great pub, excellent beer selection and lovely interior following a refurbishment, games room downstairs and everything is just well maintained, another place close to Portland street station making it useful when travelling to Wembley

Very busy, on a Thursday evening when the weathers nice. Well staffed though and all happy and quick service. Outdoor space things out when office workers go home

Tbh I was rather drunk by this stage of the pub crawl but have vague memories of a friendly welcoming venue.

Brilliant pub. There’s such a fantastic range of drinks available, all with a thorough description on the screens above the bar. Staff are superb, with fast service, friendliness and always willing to help even with the most basic of things like helping carry large orders to the table. Prices aren’t the cheapest in the area but equally they’re far from excessive for the setting and service. It’s not the largest area inside but they’ve maximise the number of tables available, plus there’s some directly outside as well as across the street which is a wonderful escape in the evening sun. There’s also a small function area downstairs which isn’t to be overlooked for a more intimate gathering. Everywhere is clean and offers a cosy environment. The toilets are underground but in good nick like the rest of the pub, and certainly kept clean. In recent months this has elevated to one of my favourite pubs in the local area, so while I don’t want to shout about it too much for fear of not getting a table again, I can’t do anything but highly recommend.

Great bar keeps and taps. No food. Be careful - it gets very busy especially during the summer and lots of stolen items.

A little gem of a pub. We walked past around 7pm on our way to dinner, and The George and Dragon was heaving - a good sign. So stopped in later in the evening. Its not a large pub, but has quite a lot of seating for its size. The selection of beers is impressive, and the ale is well kept. The bar staff were friendly enough with polite reminders ahead of last orders.

Great pub, really nice atmosphere. Recently started serving food: cannot recommend the sushi burritos more! Might sound weird to serve in a pub but absolutely divine and great value. The cauliflower bites are also excellent. Staff are all lovely! :)

Bartender was very nice and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. He let us try a few samples of different beers/ciders. Clean establishment. Lots of outdoor seating. During pandemic one way system with hand sanitizer available.

This is a great little place. They have a good selection of brews on tap and a good collection of spirits. If the weather is good, there's a massive fenced area across the street and a hand full of tables outside the main pub. It's also the only place in London (that I've found) with Cork's Franciscan Well brews.
