You want a good coffee you come here!! Fast service and amazing coffee. Visited twice in 2 days! Might even be back tomorrow! You have to try the Tim Tam muffin and the triple cheese toastie is a heart attack waiting to happen but oh soooo gooood!!!!
Excellent service and really superb food. Had the vegetarian breakfast, which was one of the best I've had. Lovely atmosphere as well. We sat inside, but they have a large seating area outside as well.
This is one of the best places for good coffee and breakfast in Balham.
Nice aussie Cafe in Balham. Very good coffee and the breakfast was decent also. We were a group of three and pretty cozy on a table more designed for two. We asked to change to a bigger one but we're told they had to save it for a group of four, fair enough. Small queue to get in on Sat morning (10-15 min wait) but they were running a tight ship and kept us updated.
The service was good and the chicken hash browns were lovely - only thing I’d suggest is that the Focaccia should be made fresh if it’s not for take away as it would make a big change in the flavour.
Such a lovely brunch, really lovely food & staff. Highly recommend the hash browns!

Their banana bread with espresso cream is delicious. I'd also recommend The Butcher is you are having lunch at Brickwood - quote fulfilling and tasty.
Pretty nice brunch place with lots of choice for food. Obviously went with the pancakes which were pretty good.

Both the heritage tomatoes and the sweetcorn fritters are, in my opinion, the best in the area and would reason alone for me to return.
The cornbread with pico de gallo (I added halloumi) was delicious. Light but tasty. The service is quick and efficient and it’s reasonably priced for Balham these days. The butcher fry up, however, wasn’t anything special. Unseasoned scrambled eggs and overcooked bacon.
Amazing Aussie cafe! Worked closely with the team to organise a shoot in the cafe and they were wonderful to work with. Amazing tasty food and fast service and were always on hand to help out and just generally loads of fun and a pleasure to spend the day with.
This is a chain and this is the best of their places. The place is clean, service very nice and atmosphere peaceful and cosy. It’s good for families as well and I could see in the morning lots of parents coming with babies. They have good changing facilities and high chairs. There is variety in seating - there are high tables with bar stools, normal tables and sofas. Overall the food is good with my favourites being smashed avocado and burrito. Their coffee is superb so worth trying long black as well.
Impressed with this place, affordable brunch and ticks all the boxes you need for a modern brunch place. Was seated quickly despite it being so busy, which was a plus. The service was good - man serving us was friendly. The coffee was nice & smooth and I tried the walnut & banana bread, which I must say was delicious. Would recommend.

I've been a happy customer for as long as you guys have been open, many years. Best brunch place in London, so it would make no sense to leave anything other than a 5 star review.
I'm leaving the review to give some feedback which I hope is easy to action. On deliveroo, when ordering a butcher, there should be a mandatory field to choose scrambled or poached egg.
I don't order delivery from you often, I come in to eat, but when I do and forget to specify, it spoils it to get poached, which I don't like.
I get that you can say "remember to specify in the free text" but at any other restaurant you order from on deliveroo where there's a choice you have to make about your meal, there's a field to choose between the 2.

Fair play to you guys, what can I say. I left this review a month or 2 ago, it's been changed on deliveroo already.
Your place is superb, but frankly I wasn't expecting that to be done, even by you guys.
Plus when I came in recently the guy who served me took the friendliness and warmth of service you've already had to even higher levels.
Would award 7 stars if I could, but I can't, so I'll just place another order instead 😀
Food is delicious! Best brunch we've had in ages. Had the veggie burritto and corn jalapeño fritter breakfast. Both were 5 star. Service was good. The bathroom needs a good scrub though, especially the door, and the seats could be more comfy. Would recommend for the food.

A very good twist on traditional English breakfast. Well cooked and perfectly runny eggs, crunchy hash brown nuggets, and nice twist instead of tomato you get this lovely little slightly sweet sauce on a side, all together just pure deliciousness.
Chicken salad, refreshing a vibrant. Solid choice for a hot sunny day.
Both our brunch options were delightful.

Brickwood is always the go-to place for a healthy and tasty brunch. The quality of the food is always high in all of their other branches, with the usual menu being served. Staff is friendly, as well as the atmosphere. You can always find a big variety of pastries and cakes, and there is the possibility to buy their handmade sourdough bread.
Absolutely spot-on. Everything I had was delicious, generous portion sizes, lots of seating (indoor and out), plus WiFi was fast so I could work here.
Had the super salad with chicken, banana bread grilled & served with espresso butter, and a ‘morning pick-up’ beetroot-based juice
